There's this boy
Who I never knew his name
I used to be a ***** to him but,
He'd just laugh it all away

There's this boy
And he came with my friend to my home one day
He made me laugh,
Made me want him to stay

There's this boy
And we did intimate things
He said he felt a connection
My heart was in his strings

There's this boy
And one day
He said he needed me
That's when I said I'd stay

There's this boy
And he's pretty cute, you see
He's got a fighters heart
And eyes as soft as seas.

There's this boy
I never knew his name
But now I do
And I hope he stays.
For my boyfriend, Tristian.
Darkness so resilient
It's vastness is too great to grasp
Throbbing veins of light, so feint,
Turn out to be clusters of galaxies,
Each unique, a masterpiece, brilliant

   Black Hole so silent
Slowly slowly swallowing
   Devouring the light
Gathering, trapping, binding,
   Each galaxy's unwavering pilot

Stardust cradled with light
   Nebulae stirring and Supernovas exploding
Worlds colliding and Comets a-flight
   Violent beginnings and violent endings
Each a link in the chain of Life
Work in progress, maybe...
Playing with space and scale
The blank pages
Invite the poetic wanderer
With a wanderlust heart
Visiting undisclosed locations
In search of rare experiences
Roaming the edges of known
Where the real adventure is
Gathering some rare pieces
Strewn here and there
Not oblivious to poetic eyes
Allure of the blank pages
Is difficult to ignore
For all the adventures
Of the wanderlust heart
Waiting to be chronicled
Sore feet and tired soul
Heals when the muse smiles
After all the secret journeys
Poetic heart will return to
The blank pages
I'm wearing the old man's housecoat.
His lawn's not blue ribbon now,
And two rails of his fence are down.
It's blue and black checkered
Down to my ankles,
A long tie cord and massive pockets.
You've seen them in nursing homes,
The men shuffling in the wrong direction,
Looking for the familiar,
Two nails.

I'm wearing an old man's slippers,
Black leather with red in-steps
And leather fraying at the heels.
I bought these.

our eyes are the same,

gooeyer in
your world.

niamh
I am but a grain of sand
On an expanse of shore.
Insignificant
Infinitesimal
Inconsequential
Irrelevant

But if I were to leave
The whole shoreline would change.
Perhaps in no major way
No astounding way
No amazing way

But it would change

"Wake up, wake up" a gentle force on my shoulder awoke me.
"What's your name? What's your name? What's your name?" The Doctor told me.

I blinked, and I blinked, and I blinked three times.
I didn't know, didn't know, that I was out of my mind.

I saw the tears, saw the tears, saw the tears rush down.
"Who is she, who is she?" the hands felt around.

I blink blink blinked twice and a third.
My soul was free, free as a bird.

I clenched my fists and cleared my throat.
All eyes looked at me in a empty hope.

"My name is Scarlet, scarlet as red"
"Red as blood, blood instead"

Joyful screams filled my ears.
People jumping, filled with cheers.

What was wrong? I wondered.
Little did I know I was in a blunder.

I had amnesia and I didn't remember
That I had forgot.
