To love you now means to love you from distance
My eyes swelling,
Heart desolate and longing
For the sound of your voice,
Warmth of your embrace

In the midst of despairing days,
Dreary nights
And sorrowful worries
Here, I love you from afar

In loving you there is no tomorrow;
Only today
If the world crushes on a beam of light in this moment,
Will I ever see you again?

I find love in the flowers,
Little petals of sunshine
Smile at me from between thick leaves.

I find love in the clouds,
Flowing feathers and cotton candy
Watching over me sweetly, shielding me from the sun.

I find love in the wind,
The gentlest gust
Asking kindly to see my face between my curls.

I find love in your grin,
Bright ivory between pink cushions
And in them, the essence of all that is good.

Hi
Years ago
We stayed up till
3 am talking,
And today
I don’t even know
How to say hi,

when people are in love
they often say
they simply fell
tripped over their own two feet
face forward
and into the arms of their beloved

i did more than simply fall
onto the ground of your love

you, for me
were an ocean
and i dived
headfirst
roughly
harshly
almost painfully
into the waters of “you”

i knew i could not swim
but i did so anyway
i was drowning
entangled in you
surrounded by this being of “you”
engulfed in this feeling of “you”

and i did not know what came over me
but i let myself drown
i did not try to swim back up
because if i went back to land,
releasing myself from your grasp
that would mean losing the feeling of “you”

and after
submerging into the depth
the love
the passion
of “you”

how could i ever leave?
She was like music,
and I longed to dance.

Her heart was the beat,
and I begged for the chance.

Her words were the vocals,
and I was put in a trance.

Her smile was the melody,
and I fell in love at first glance.
I can't help you
And it's killing me.
So who's dying inside more?
I drink my morning coffee,
gulp after gulp,
searching for sanity
in the bottom of the cup
