My limbs
Folded
Beneath,
I bend,
Descend,
Bring the eye
Between
To ground
Below
To ground
Me.
And I notice,
I bring
Emily
To rest
Here
Sometimes,
In the pose
Of a child
Where the world
Goes
Still.

In these Times.

We seek shelter,
in quick haste,
& Helter-skelter,
to curb fate,
One of our many endless mistakes.

In these Times.

With no knowledge or whim,
we inflict panic & pain tearing limb from limb,
With no knowledge of what is right or wrong,
what is known is now the time to be strong,
We are at war.

In these Times.

Survival of the fittest is,
survival of the richest,
Which is the nth percentile,
while the ninety-nine populate the pile,
They are brandished in likes, whispers and smiles.

Embraceless

Days once lived in anticipation, anxious for love,
yet ever hopeful for the ever lorn,
now lost to a world wary and frightened,
proximity the new Devil’s door,
the prescribed chasm much more than the height of a man,
as hope for a brush of lock, a goodnight caress, are abandoned,
leaving the embraceless many.

When you're born, like I,
to a fortunate line
its vital you make best use of your time
guiding the way for the impoverished below,
ensuring their well-being and economies grow...

How you ask?
What an excellent query!
The work is relentless
but I remain cheery
our goal of saving the uneducated poor
is closer than it has ever been before!
We've got Bayer for health
Monsanto for food
solid profitable businesses
looking out for you
And let's not forget the allseing EarthNow
blanketing the sky with live satellite shroud
designed for government and large enterprise
soon everyone can trust us to be their eyes
Yep, We've got you covered!
We vet information
so there's no danger you'll have inclination
to doubt for a minute that we know what's right
However,
to quell confusion measures must be tight
But!
When this is over,
just wait and see!
We will emerge triumphantly
A united global community
Oh yes, there'll be austerity,
For everyday folks not the super wealthy
It's a simple case of superiority
Don't worry
Conditioning has ensured you will love slavery
Just don't think too hard
Simply listen to me

Inside a PPE

The Price of Sanctity

Hazy.. blind, I can't see a thing,
Sweat; an ocean__and I drown.
Trickling, feel rivers down my spine
Scorched, an all too normal tryst.
Elements, lost; wasted in the heat,
An itch; how quitely it goes ignored.
This headache. **** this headache
Someone get me a salve.
2 hours !
Twice has the clock ran by,
5 more, er..
But, can I last any long ?
Water ! No water ! No fluid
Traverses in to / without _
Hell ? No, it is dead men walking.
Heaven ? Has there ever any been?
Natural, welcome to the new order.
Living, shall never be any the same.

Working in a CoViD 19 ward. Inside the PPE. These thoughts came to mind as I jotted them down.
