Let us abandon the wounds we inflicted in our distance and embrace the quiet joy that once united us. Forget the anguish, and remember the love that first sparked and sustained us.
Those inflicted wounds and those moments of being loved to the fullest

Waste not these salty tears
On bygones and yesteryears
For moments when the past steers
It often veers
In and out of easily rekindled fears

You knock my mind uninvited
At times you bring
Smile
Laughter
Pearls in eyes
Sigh so peaceful
Dive to Deepest thoughts
A fear that could disturb

You come uninvited
Though leave without any trace

At times you leave behind bits and pieces
couldn't connect or relate

At times it can be rollercoaster
that lost it direction and control

Even though
Still cherish to have Memories!!!

So many more things I would have loved
to share with you.
So many more stories I would have loved
to exchange with you.
So many more words I would have loved
to learn and unlearn with you.
So many more emotions I would have loved to know if you feel the same way, too.
So many more things I would have loved
to share with you.
Your music.
Your warmth.
Your personal space.
Your laughter and their sounds, reverberating between our bodies.
Our bodies.
The night.
My tongue.
The silver moon sparkling.
Your necklace, I want to share it, too.
Your rib and my rib, kissing too.
As friends

Every time you come,
They say
"Rain, rain go away"
But,
They never ask you,
To stay

"Rain, rain go away"
They say
"Rain, rain go away"

They also say
"Come again another day"
But,
That another day
They say it again
"Rain, rain go away
Come again another day"
That another day,
Never comes for them
So, rain
Why don't this time you stay?

"Rain, rain go away"
No, don't
Just stay here for today

And they say

"Rain, rain go away
Come again another day
Little kid wants to play
Rain, rain go away"

And I say

No, don't
Why can't you see?
Today, I'm waiting
For you to play with me

"Rain, rain go away
Come again another day"
No, no rain don't listen to them
Oh! please stay for today

They say

"Rain, rain go away
Come again another day"

No, please don't
There's no way
You're leaving me
Again
Today

"Rain, rain go away"
They say
"Rain, rain go away"

We spend so much time blinking and looking away,
we blink so much that we don’t realize our fuse is alight.
A turn of the dial,
into another scene,
never rooted in the moment,
as transient as everything mortal.
We blink, to erase the unpleasant,
we blink, to jump forward,
coil our bodies around rest,
wrap paychecks inside our hands,
so, we can blink a little more.
We skip and jump out of the day,
when tomorrow is worse than today,
we blink it away,
as if we have unlimited blinks,
and soon enough we’ll hit a wall
and wish we could have kept our eyes open
more frequently.

There are moments in
my life that are
too wild and
beautiful to be
tamed or captured by
words or sentences.
Musical notes could
do a better job at
conveying the experience.
D minor
or C sharp major.

My mind replays
the moments,
alive with pentatonic scales
and the taste of homemade
apple cider, and pomegranate
security.
I smell the burning leaves of
late October, and feel
the smooth nose of my
childhood Appaloosa, her
dappled coat, and trusting eyes.

Sometimes the world, and
all its goodness
stupifies me, and leaves
my spirit rocking gently in
a cradle, where I know it's
all going to be okay.
