I was a piece written by Mozart and you never learnt how to play piano

It's bittersweet dear,
pleasing you with these smiles
so warm and empty.
We're safer this way, so I'll
keep swallowing the words that
you don't want to hear me say.

They threw me a hurricane

I spit back the sea

each iterative
a lesson
to fail
gracefully

I wish
that in
another lifetime --

should there be
another one --
and surely,

we'll find
each other
again --

in whatever
form
we'll take;

I wish
you
and I --

wont let
our souls
hurt

this much,
this way--
ever again~

Everybody wants the train wreck
the car crash
the big fire
No one knows why
It's simple
We must feel
the consequences
of life
or lose it
