No beginning is good enough
I heard the sand grains say
repeatedly
They're blown about
unstuck their cover is fragile
They always remember being
some place else
vague and connected
loosely they're tied
to the stupid wind
by their own choosing
Restless they will be everywhere,
so they aren't picky.
Some get sticky
and buried
under stainless water,
and some mount up
thru seismic waves
into volumes of sandstone,
only to be trimmed into shorter sentence,
whipped into tenderness,
groomed into the latest
fashion,
those banded dunes that sulk
the passion.

society has drugged some people into the idea that if we have money we will be happy
Turning people into brainless hungry zombie
Never having a enough
Always searching the lowest of wastelands for more

Society has built us into soldiers
Robotic and grey
Gave of us the ability to make choices
But put us on restricted mode
the robots are slowly turning to rust
Yet they march forever more

Society has given a dystopia
Out of a utopia
By making us feel like we have choices
distracting us
Lying  and saying
That everything fine
But the air is ash
And our minds are trash

the modern apocalypse
look deeper in our lives
to be determined Jun 2018
He trembles
as he gazes upon
the upturned nostrils of They
that whispers
“Not good enough. Doesn’t fit the mold.”
They is the pestering voice that
jackhammers your skull and
shoves your limbs into broken figures.
“be left”
one screams
“RIGHT”
roars the other.
Left is contested into silence.
So there he sits with
trembling hands,
raging insides,
and bared teeth.
“Perfection”
crows the They we all fear
but shall soon become
views on society

no one's gonna listen to me
but can't you see?
this is all wrong
they're all dancing to the same song

how could they....conform?

You, my darling, are the most exceptional jewel of them all. So why is it that you mirage your gleam with the dirt of the common stones?

she was the maker, he was her muse
a creative girl with everything to lose

she colored her canvas with her bleeding heart
she loved him and watched her world fall apart

she got her heart broken but kept a blank face
knowing that there are some mistakes you can't erase

she gave up her art, a lover betrayed
her pure white mind turned a darker shade.
And then there were seven.
