I removed my heart to keep it safe from those who label me heartless
I'm no good at noticing the double edged, backstabbing nonsense
I shattered my own heart, tore it apart, and put each piece in their separate compartments
An interesting story plot borrowed from Tom Riddles Lord Voldemort, I have my own horcruxes
Oh but I don't want to live forever
Just need a little relief lever
And make it harder to get at my more fragile components

In mental compartment of mind
a delicate balance must be found.
Boxes of memories are stacked
careful not to tip them
Careful to stack into their
color coded container.

Red for past pain
Blue for sadness that forsaken me
Green for money had lost and had again.
Purple for people who come and go.
Yellow for happy thoughts to fly in mind.
Orange for moments of change needing to accept.
Pink for memories of play with inner child.
Indigo for dreams seeded for future.

A mental compartment in mind, I carry.
And sometimes they tumble only for me
to re examine, cry,
and make a rainbow.

I'm a 40% aqueous solution of earth
Water from below and
Water from above the firmament
Contained and compartmentalised
In self similar structures at various scales
From the unseen to the one you see as me.
