Nowadays the love songs don’t focus on love
Only thing the songs are expressing is ***
And taking the girl back to your house above
All else and then have her leave if the next
Logical point in the song
Everyone jams out to these signing along
Saying these are the next big thing to hit
The radio making the guy be the strong,
Macho type and the damsel throwing a fit
Because of his attitude and complaining
About how love should be and not this
“Why can’t you be like an old song?” feigning
Anger to play hard to get on him but it’s just a diss
She’s laying on him
This is the usual nowadays except for the rare
Few who were raised on the classics actually
Falling in love with her instead of a hit and
Quick and a see ya around but is factually
Never happening again, looking for the band
That sung that sweet melody that touched the
Soul
Now this isn’t me saying I’m a classic Romeo
No not at all babe, I’m just trying to say
I’m looking to make her fall in love
And find a happy ever after in this
World that killed the love songs

If you asked me whether I love music I'd say I do
But there's none that inspires me like Dido's, she's my idol
I have almost all of her songs, such a charming voice
I guess It's one of the reason she's my first choice

Robert frost wrote a poem about all the places he sees in the shadows of the night.....And when i read it I made my own version.

I haven't been everywhere but i like to think i've been around
Some places I've seen deserve crowns

I've been to the brain that makes up roaring waves.
I've been to the music that some say saves
I've hit the floor that holds me down
and seen the people who make no sound
I've been to the place some call hell
And what Ive been above ground which i like to think is my own piece of heaven.
And if there is a heaven in the sky
I will go knowing
That I've been around
Even the shadows you see at night
Im not sure about this one....
What do you think?
Walking through your minds eye
your strokes are a mighty flush
holding our hearten thoughts
to blend with yours
as we go by....
Vincent, your mighty brain
sees the world as no one can
brilliance was the day
you decided
to paint....
Your strokes glamour the poor
the trees and leaves devour once more
walking through time makes one see, how mighty
may your system thus carry on and be, in your task at hand
that we may understand, walking through your paintings once
in your mind's eye..sealed shut in a great life changed our lives forever...
Drawing your curtain for all to see
your love of stillness returned
hushed as the forest
as a strange cry
as we walk
willingly
Vincent.....
Paint from the grave side
paint from the moors
hold our hearts
so lovingly

Sonnet is love
sonnet is rhyme'
metaphorical pattern
so much sublime

Popular with poets
the Elizabethans too
used it to woo
their mistresses so few

John Donne,
catching the spirit of the Jacobean age
his need to express his love for his wife,
Anne

Expression of religious passion
and simply reflections of death
The Victorians
and so many more

Elizabeth Barrett Browning,
the Rossettis,
and George Meredith
were so new

American poets noted
Longfellow,
E. A. Robinson,
Elinor Wylie, and Edna St. Vincent Millay.

Sonnets make us sing
makes us laugh
cry with saving grace
universal themes of love ....

Keep writing those sonnets
all you wonderful
poets
that we all adore...

As Rupal says,
Wordsworth too..

Like flipped coin midair
Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle
Two ends of a spectrum, Möbius strip

In a room together,
Maxwell’s demon, revolving door
Cancer and chemo
Like life and death
Only one can be
The next is inevitable

Like an election
Only one figurehead may speak for a governing body
Like the seasons
Change is expected

Like a cat left to its own devices
Guaranteed to scare itself after a given time
Man tries to conquer for comforts sake
Mercurial reactions
Like elements under catalyst

A Sensation of New Life.
In speaking and growing closer with you day by day
I feel something in the depths of me that had long since gone away
To say that you and I being compatible is far short from the truth
For me being with you is as harmonious as Clark Kent in a booth
For you saying my name has a ring like that of dear Saturn
The vibrations of your vocal chords are among the most vibrant of patterns
Dear one you must realize what may not be so simple and clean
This bond that’s joined between us that is so crystal and pristine
If Having a Coke With You was the only way to spend a lifetime
That would leave me in pure wonderment for the 8th or even 9th time.
If I said how I loved thee and then pretended to count the ways
I would be doing you such an injustice that even Elizabeth Barrett couldn’t Brown away.
If the Sidewalk would End yet I continue for the Red Red Rose
You would see how our love Burns even hotter than the sand which the Shels doze.
I would search for you through the deepest Blue Periods of the vast sea
So much that the creator of the flying Raven would question the love between himself and Lee
If two roads were to diverge in any wood of any color on a Boundless Cliff in any City
I would take them both whilst Shaking My Speare to all who oppose leaving only my pity
Through the endless, impervious love established through the bond that you and I hold
A new life is created that no dagger, poison, or Capulet could fold
A sensation like no other to last through the Best of Times and the Worst of Times
Leaves a Tale of Two Lovers to last forever and always through the words in this rhyme
Is it by chance that Da Vinci's "La Gioconda"
is named as such?
All propaganda, speculations and theories all based
on a smile.
Etymology of the name Gioconda is such:
"Friendly and communicative, Gioconda has plenty of charm and magnetism. A sociable extrovert, she is pleasant, cheerful and very likeable. She was born to express herself, interact with others and have a good time. In effect, she can sometimes appear rather disconcerting."
"Rather disconcerting", now that's an understatement of the enigmatic
Mona Lisa's smile!
A beguiling smile, what are you thinking whilst sat for the maestro?
Is it an affair of the heart?
Is it a smirk? A smirk of knowing.
Are you even real?
A woman or as some suggest, a beautiful boy, Da Vinci's muse/lover?
Does your beauty mask a hidden triumph, your magnetism over time?
You, have become immortal, looked upon and gazed at, where Gods have not.
Did you know as you sat amongst the smell of paint,
that your fate was sealed not with a kiss but a smile?
