I still remember that day,
When our eyes first met.
You were slightly blushing,
While telling your name.
Your curls were brushing your cheeks,
Maybe you bewitched me with the technique.
And the way you smiled,
When our eyes got locked,
Oh,heaven it was enough to steal my heart.
Maybe it was serendipity's desire,
To see you in that bride's attire.
Everyday felt like a beautiful dream,
Where I was a lover and you were my queen.
Everything seemed to be better,
To think we were only for each other.
Who knew mere fantasy just played with me,
The way you behaved with others,
Was always as same as me.
Thought you were a soul who liked to be free.
It was all fine until the reality hit me.
My heart shattered into pieces,
Realized I was a fool in love,
And you, the mastermind, were,
Playing the game of hide and seek all along.

I try not to believe in things.
Instead, I observed things with no preconceived judgement.

I believe my truck could still be in the garage where I parked it.

I believe there’s a ghost of a chance that anyone can avoid betrayal.

I believe in the end it doesn’t even matter.

I believe when ignorance ends knowledge begins.

I was five and she was six
We rode on horses made of sticks
She wore black and I wore white
She would always win the fight

Bang bang, she shot me down
Bang bang, I hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, my friend shot me down

Seasons came and changed the time
When I grew up I tried to forgive
She would always laugh and say
Remember when we used to play

Bang bang, I shot you down
Bang bang, you hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, I used to shoot you down

Music played and people sang
Just for me the church bells rang

Now she’s betrayed me I don't know why
Until this day, sometimes I cry
She didn't even say why
She didn't take the time to lie

Bang bang, she shot me down
Bang bang, I hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, my friend shot me crushed my dreams
I once loved a man
Who had two faces
Told me words of love and reassurance
Even showered me with praises

But his words never
Matched what he truly felt
Because it was only pain
Not love or care I was dealt

I once loved a man
Who never meant what he phrased
His actions burned me
Leaving me chared and scathed

Told me he’d be there
When I needed him the most
But when the moment finally came
I was left with a ghost

I once loved a man
Who couldn’t be what I craved
The cards he left me with
Were truly cruel and depraved

The lesson I learned
Was only I could save me
Not the man with two faces
Who called me his lady
sacrificed on the name of joke
became laughing stock of the group
my friends reflection in the mirror
appears rather dull than bright

rust entered in the open wounds
scars that cover my whole body
friend is a word to use with care
growing ivy does not make them rose
death came from rattle snakes
build a fort just to dig his grave
air became thinner inside
with every single inhale
mesmerized by the good feeling
his obscured vision of love
couldn’t differ between words or places
memories that still haunt him at dawn

one common bite and 100 different faces
excruciating pain and smile on their faces
black dahlia flourished in my rose garden
my eyes rained, someone punctured the cloud
scandals that can ruin lives, lies that can take lives
a friend is not a friend of yours
beware of those snakes
who befriend you and **** your soul
