I'm just a beginner,
I love beginnings.
They're fresh, they're inviting
and promise all things exciting.
Beginnings are just right

what do they mean?
A small delicate creature
that lands on your arm
raising each hair one-by-one

no matter how hard you try.

Sheer power,
She yields,
And you submit
To its potency

She sets off with,
Shrugging off the feeble protective shell of past

For too long you try
To reach out,
Only to realise,

your hair dances with the breeze like grass,
while the orchid sky paints your face.
your lips, the shape of Artemis's golden bow,
shooting at me endlessly

your name sits on the tip of my tongue.
my eyes are wide and unblinking,
fingertips touching and grazing
as we lie under the starless sky.
