every now and then
I receive emails from former students
with pictures of their newborns

each time
I am deeply touched
that they feel
I would like to know
about their lives’ great events

I reply with loving mails
congratulating them
wishing them much joy
    and patience
with their adorable offsprings

it is just nice to know
that the people
whose lives you shared for a few years
are doing well

your love is so artificial
i feel as if i'm choking on plastic
there is such a wall between us
you never could get past it

Love doesn't aim to control or curb or force...rather it encourages, supports and persuades..if it does the former...then it isn't and cannot be love.

at sixteen the girls were taking their baked cakes home from school
while the boys talked of going to the pub
the girls knew all about ***
the boys knew nothing and never stopped talking about it

a girl puts her doll to bed
a boy puts his gun under his pillow

you can put on a smart sharp suit
nice clean crisp white shirt
a red tie extra shiny brown brogues
put messages out everywhere you go
wearing your best feathers
ruffle feathers and turn some heads
but if its not real love
the real you will be a let down in the end.
