nós somos pássaros desajeitados
e pássaros desajeitados têm que começar a voar cedo
como diz o ditado chinês

estamos no chão
cercados pelas folhas e pelos predadores
nós fomos derrubados do ninho
ninguém se importa
mas não vamos ficar aqui
vamos voar mais e mais alto
e muito, muito distante

nós somos pássaros desajeitados
e nós sempre voamos ao amanhecer
para que ninguém possa nos ver cair
e se isso acontecer
que eles vejam que estamos dando o nosso melhor

e o chão está ficando mais distante
e o céu mais perto
e podemos tocar as nuvens
e não vamos voltar
porque nós somos pássaros desajeitados
e pássaros desajeitados têm que começar a voar cedo
como diz o ditado chinês

vocês viram, irmãos e irmãs?
nós somos os pássaros desajeitados
e nós estamos voando
Poema e canção.

("Clumsy Birds")
Serafeim Blazej Sep 2016
we are clumsy birds
and clumsy birds have to start flying early
as the Chinese saying says

we are on the ground
surrounded by leaves and predators
we went overturned out of the nest
nobody cares
but we will not stay here
we will fly higher and higher
and far, far away

we are clumsy birds
and we always fly at dawn
so that no one can see us falling
and if that happens
that they see we are giving our best

and the ground is getting farther
and the sky closer
and we can touch the clouds
and we will not return
because we are clumsy birds
and clumsy birds have to start flying early
as the Chinese saying says

you saw, brothers and sisters?
we are clumsy birds
and we are flying
Poem and song.
It was part of a story.
Inspired by the Chinese saying cited.

Cinzas permanecem. Por isso somos abençoados nas cinzas após todo o fogo se extinguir. O fogo não dura. As cinzas sim. Mesmo se são levadas pelo vento, lavadas pela água ou enterradas na terra. Até mesmo se são postas no fogo novamente. Elas sempre permanecem, não importa o quê.
Fala (discurso).

("ashes remain/so we are blessed")
Serafeim Blazej Sep 2016
Ashes remain. So we are blessed in the ashes after all the fire is extinguished. The fire does not last. The ashes do. Even if they are carried by the wind, washed by water or buried in the ground. Even if they are put on fire again. They always remain, no matter what.
Speech.

they were little princes
tied with ropes
suspended like marionettes
linked to the will of the sorcerer
they were birds with clipped wings
so they could not fly
never go back to home
Poem.

My mother always told me the same story
How Narcissus broke Drinick
Because love is not always enough
Sometimes it only causes pain

Narcissus was the first love of Drinick
The first true passion
Drinick was the only friend of Narcissus
During long summers and all the rest of the time

Narcissus never cried
Nor when he felt pain
Drinick never disbelieved
Nor when he reached the bottom

Then Narcissus broke Drinick
In such small pieces
That no one would be able to fix he
And no one ever fixed

My mother always told me the same story
How Narcissus broke Drinick
Because love is not always enough
Sometimes it only causes pain

Narcissus was gone and never returned
Drinick stayed and never ran again
The story of the two died
On the day that Narcissus broke

My mother always told me
Never be like Narcissus
He lost everything he had
And never be like Drinick
That was left with nothing

My mother always told me the same story
How Narcissus broke Drinick
Because love is not always enough
Sometimes it only causes pain

I've been Narcissus
And I've had my Drinick
But the history repeated
My mother always told me

When Narcissus broke Drinick
A young moon hung in the sky
That night the stars did not appear
And they all went out of the eyes of both
Poem.
