Grey
an everlasting love
sometimes hidden
but always there.

the sun shines
through the ***** blinds
a mind is but a kind
of never ending story

Maddy
She closed her eyes but felt that look
Across a crowded train
Too many people
Not enough moments
No head shakes
No hellos
No capture of a smile
Just that look
That haunts him still
Wonder if he ever found you
Wonder if you found him
Just that look

One that loves
everyone in general
loves no one
in particular
She is a poem of his heart
He never disclosed
In front of anyone.

Harry
the oldest friend
I barely knew
turned to a memory
left alone with the new

Can you give me a bear hug
for the lonely walks taken?

Can you give me a tight hug
for being strong?

Can you give me a hug
for all that I am?

Can you be the hug
that I never received?

A hug ought to fade away
all my silent tears.
All this universe, to the furthest stars,
all beyond them, is your flesh, your soul.
And one day, under the great sky in solitude and silence,
with humble heart shall I stand face to face with the abyss,
then, I think, i will understand why there is such a play of colors on clouds, on water, and why flowers are painted in tints, why there is music in leaves, and why the waves sending their chorus of voices
to the heart of the listening earth when I sing to make you dance.
These wax wings stood no chance against your rays,
I was warned, I know, but what's more tempting than safety

or perceived safety.

Like Icarus I fell from the sky into the waters and met a cancer,
now i'm drowning cause I can't swim.

id rather be a star gazing
but that's what got me here in the first place.
