I bid you all a fond farewell
As these bones turn to dust in capitalist shackles.
No more will my voice be silenced
By gender roles and repression.
My foremothers gave me my rights nearly a century ago
And you still act like it’s pocket change.
No more.

I will rise above this consumerist nation
And be heard.
Feminism means equality, not women over men.
Don’t take offense when I lock my car doors.
You’ve proven yourselves untrustworthy.
“Not all men.”
But enough men.

I am not backing down; I am not giving in.
I am breaking free of conformity,
Barely comfortable in the skin you told me was imperfect.
Flip-flopping your beliefs; I am never good enough for you.
But I will always be good enough for myself.
after you, I understood why
hurricanes were named after people
The music in my mind, is not the song they like.
They want to change the tune, just for their delight.

Crazy is what they'd call me, but I would not deny,
I love the way I am, no that is not a lie.

The ones dressed in white, and the others dressed in blue,
They tell you that they'll help, but what can they do?

Slip a pill down your throat, put a smile on your face,
Make sure to always accept a warm, loving embrace.

They can't make the shadows go away, because you need the sun in your life,
Just like how you can't rid of kitchen appliances; a steak needs a sharp knife.

So instead they'll numb your senses, so you'll never feel the pain,
I've never heard of something quite this inhumane.

Keep me away from there, they'll never let me out.
I will fight against my will, don't even try to doubt.

Just let me be, I'll find a way, to live another day,
Because I will refuse to eat hospital food on a little dusty tray.

Let me sing my song, you can listen if you please,
But do not stop the track, unless I start to sound like Lise.
No need to insert the story to express the use of my sisters name.
You woke me
in the dead
of night
with a tired
moan

so,
of course I
ran to
your bedside
and heard
the rattle in
your tone

I told you
that you
must breathe
deep
you must
feel it
in your
bones

and you nodded
your
exhausted
head
and then
I felt you
go.

I don't know what's worse
The day you died
Or your funeral

From hordes of fresh cut saplings that abound
The hunter will devise a trusted bow
Discarded remnants rot above the ground

In early spring when winter chills rebound
The hunter builds a shelter in the snow
From hordes of fresh cut saplings that abound

Through summer months, the hunter's meal is found
By streams and brooks that through the forest flow
Discarded remnants rot above the ground

As summer wanes and autumn comes around
The hunter lets his stock of arrows grow
From hordes of fresh cut saplings that abound

At autumn's end, two mighty kings are crowned
Their armies feast before the final throw
Discarded remnants rot above the ground

In winter when the archers' drums resound
And hunters pull the string and loose the blow
From hordes of fresh cut saplings that abound
Discarded remnants rot above the ground

Hands...soft caress on your breast...
Lips... ever so gently. .touching
your very soul even.
Eyes.. blazing with the passion of it all..
Skin.. on fire , ever so sensitive
Sweat..falls from his face, dosnt bother you..
Hair.. pushed from his face
but still falls over one eye..
    Those eyes..
You quiver from within...
Steam.. you laugh in adolescent joy at the windows steamed up..
and what the cows saw...
Wrote this after a make out " parking" incident. .where some cows got quite a show...lol!!
