I woke up on a ship upon the sea ,
Thinking I had finally found my sailor.
You had maps drawn with lines and X's marking spots of interest,
And I thought I was your favorite treasure.
Romanced me from land to sea, but turns out you are just another pirate looting girls hearts for pleasure.
Capsized, we've been hit, and you abandon ship,
And I abandon my anxious breath.
Drowning in emotions I become swallowed in the waves of tears.
Down to the bottom I sink, in blue oceans I'll sleep

Hold onto me,
Don't turn and run.
Give all of yourself to me,
And I will give myself to you.
Give ourselves completely without reservation, without excuses.
Entrust ourselves in each other's hands for
I am the place to lose your fears.
Here with me you'll never have to be alone,
Devotion with me is guaranteed.
My love is strong,
An unbreakable bond.
Together is right were we belong.

You have been wanting me, I know.
Wishing for me, and needing me.
Don't you realize pushing me away doesn't put you any further from the truth and burying your feelings doesn't make you any less invincible. Stop waiting for this moment to pass you by, regret it an ugly roommate, and silence is the dirtiest trick.

You have a war inside you that's all your own.
You close your eyes and feel your pulse weakening in every moment I am gone.
You try to rest your mind of me, but realize the battle has yet to start.

With a hint of salt from the sea.
There we were just you and me.
As the breeze flowed above us,
Our eyes met briefly and begged for a chance to abandon all of our uncertainties.
Underneath a blanket of stars the beach became the stage.
You began your work on my lips until there were no hiding places.
Caressing my neck, my shoulders, my back,
I released all control to you.
As you wound your hands in my hair,
you lowered yourself gently.
Intoxicated by this night our bodies mold together.
Soft moans from need of passion
heat this ember to a flame.
We grasped this moment passing by as we approached our finish.
All life's tensions flee this night,
Leaving our bodies demanding more.

You're coming over me,
Crashing like a tidal wave,
And I'm slipping under.
So push me into the peaceful deep,
As you run your fingers over my treasures.
We will become lost in the paradise of one another,
Baby you'll be my great escape.

Storms rage across the waters of our lives,
Drowning ourselves in all that goes on.
You have shipwrecks in your mind you have never shown.
Never saying what you really feel, but I know what's real.
I know it feels like an anchor is pulling you to the bottom of the sea,
But I hope you can find peace with me.
Because although I have shipwrecks of my own,
I'm not afraid anymore,
And I'm tired of treading water,
So dive in with me,
Let's catch a new wave.
