I am who I am meant to be

There is a light
In that light, there is clarity
With clarity, one can see
The error of their ways
The truth of who they are
Their deepest desires
With clarity
One can become

I’m a flightless bird
With useless wings
Dumb and wild and free

On display
In my solitary incarceration
I pace in circles
So the camera will see

The moon shone through the trees
