At the crack of dawn,      an indigo glow.
As swallows sing, I'm      restless with waiting.

Original dyad reinstated.
Edited version:
You'll find me in the     alcoves, the cradle
of secret gardens,      lost in my minds maze.

(A coincidence I noticed afterwards, that the time of both edits is exactly the same.)

There's a second self     rolling in the deep.
They're felt but, sometimes,     I glimpse a shadow.
10:30 - 11/06/17
State of mind: anxious.

Thoughts: from feeling - my intuition and reflection take some sort of form. Like a guide or guardian showing us the next move or way forward.
Over the years, it's becoming easier to connect. It feels like a low frequency, like latching on to something faint and distant.

Rolling in the deep has a double meaning.

Questions: Is there a way to permanently latch on to this shadow? Is that healthy? Would we not become as faint and distant?

The lightness of your     spirit bounces by,
like a binding ether      joining all the dots.
11:50 - 10/06/17
State of mind: joy.

Thoughts: from thinking - about the free spirit, the joyful weightlessness and emptiness, the space inbetween, holding all matter together.

Questions: none.

They are the masters,     the thousand failed ways,
knowing what is best,     knowing what is not.
01:15 - 10/06/17
State of mind: optimistic; complex.

Thoughts: from feeling - that making mistakes are an important part of learning. They should be supported and examined. Great things have unfolded from the accidental.

Knowing a thousand ways that don't work is knowing why the one that does, is best.

Questions: how can failure be experienced in a way that encourages persistence?

No halfway's mark me     as full or empty
when a drop of hope     can change someone's life.
12:30 - 9/06/17
State of mind: defiant; focused.

Thoughts: from thinking - about the saying 'is your glass half full or empty'?

I realise that it is a passive question, not serious, but merely to reveal a person's attitude or outlook.

What I'm exploring with this is the idea of, not just thinking about a person's attitude, but what the actual contents of the glass are. A glass half full might taste of sorrow.

Questions: the glass may be half full or empty but where is the source from which it is filled or drained?
