'We discovered that one of the strongest links among us was questions about the morality
of what we do: when do
you press the shutter release
and when do you cease
being a photographer?'

Back to the
subtle pool
of dark and deep
that lay below illumination.

Wriggling, slippery
scales of black
in a pool
so hard to see,
so hard to grasp.

Down the hall
in the realm of control,
pulling into light a dark shadow.

Maybe two, but one.

Pull it close
to touch it in mind,
to know it and own it
and let it go.

So deep and dark
and subtle and fooling,
this pool of mind.

Take a photograph,
Let it develop slowly,
Patience is virtue.

A bonfire in the
dark confronting me with
pure essence
stirring
every bit of pain
in my heart
and
afterwards
familiar tickling
warmth
returning

Every one needs someone
Even if it’s just themselves
But I need someone
Who needs more then themselves
For I can not continue to run
Where loneliness dwells
