              spilled          some
                                         words
        on                  the

Floor and
                                               as they lay
                    they
                                      surmount
     all
I've    ever     written.

...and I lay down my pen for a broom.

All we see, when we look at the bright blue sky, is the effects of the sun
The results of her radiant all being purpose
You must look closer to find
That the stars were never on hiatus
In the first place
The Stars Were Never On Hiatus

And then I saw it
And I knew
Overtaken as I was
That all of my prior perceptions of beauty were nothing
And that your memory
Was a far sight from all of God's green glory
Creative and free as the cattails and the rustic leaves
For which I am thankful
Most thankful
Struck silent by the sight. Happy that such a truth exists. Exquisite.

Please tell me when are you planning to leave
so I can know where to put my heart on my sleeve
Should I place it near my hands so that I can give it to you
Or should I place it up higher for you are just passing through

A silent scream drowning out the noise
Hearing nothing but the echo of emptiness

There are some things I want to say
to you
tough medicine
rough music if you 're so
inclined not the kind you snap
your fingers to on the radio
it's more primal than that but
like the radio
when you hear it
years from now you'll know
exactly where you were the first time
you listened
and more importantly the year
make and model of car
you were driving

Ears
Loud can move a crowd
But whispers move mountains
It showed up and stuck....
