its the civil service as we know it
counting blocks of years
for a gold plated pension methinks
and watch before your eyes
the transgression of the soul
taking orders on rank Mondays
and progressively suffocate till Friday
week and year once over again.

Hello, my darling!
Even if you can't hear me,
I need to say it.

Speckled polka
pointillism in the sky,
in lime and apple green,
caress the jagged, jaded
jade summer oak.
And smiles down
like the angel
rays, which
cast my soul to heaven.
And insignificance.
As I steal through
my sunshine archways.

She had the kind of face
that could swallow
your hope
like a fly,
sinking in an olympic sized swimming
pool

You'd never have her,
she'd never want you

Her eyes
two blue lakes
you could submerge in,
drown in,
wishing to never sea them stream

Black painted arcs
curved,
framing,
They could make
Mona Lisa frown
green with envy

Beauty etched
so deep, so true
time itself
could never
erase

I’m absorbed by my apathy,

like pineapple in jelly,

it’s hard for me to escape the grasp of this gelatinous path,

the further I traverse this sticky boardwalk of indifference,

the harder it becomes to see what the point is-

The way people live their lives,

there is no thrill in 9 to 5.

The reason seems to evade my sights,

past the golden horizon and towering heights.

I’ve resigned myself to this winding trail in the middle ground,

with no hatred to spare, nor love to be found,

maybe someday I’ll spot a stray oppinion,

and then I’ll know where to begin.
Constructive criticism is always welcome
