I'm several
steps back

I'm watching
from afar

I'm trying
to make sense

But I'm just grabbing
at raindrops
with open palms
And if I would have loved myself
The way I loved you
I wouldn't know the pain
I do

Jasmine knew
Stones are telling to a river
The lines would be my blood

یاسمن می دانست
سنگ ها به رود می گویند
خط ها باید خون من باشند

Dice-like words toss around mind,
until ready for the written poem to emerge.
To tickle eyes that gracefully move.
To open heart for time to stop.
To heal pains and know ones not alone.
To retrieve memories with a smile
as melodies linger.

Hooray for playing the game of life with dice fully loaded.
Hooray for life that unfolds divinely.

I'm grateful for my life with all its experiences. May you roll your own dice and move in the energies of a winner.
Love is confusing
I really don't get it
Some days I really wish
That I could just forget it
Some days I feel like I'm normal again
That your out of my head
But  then one look in your ocean blue eyes
And that's it
I've fallen in love again
He's really In my head I guess.
Roses aren't always red
& voilets aren't exactly blue,
The society we live in
Never seems to speak the truth.

Smiles aren't always happy
& frowns aren't always upset,
People judge too quickly
our feeling are what they forget.

When I began to write
peace was mine.
I danced in steps
to the music of poetry in mind.
I wrote
sometimes in day,
or middle of night.

Eventually, my heart expanded
writing often until all my heartbeats
were of poetry.
Every breath housed another poem.
Everything inspired me.

In time, I evolved meditating
connecting to source
and NOW...
Every cell in my body vibrates poetry.

Hooray, for me. I am blessed
with a golden pen, a waterfall of poems,
and loving soul.
