decay was finished
in our souls
inefficient steps
the road sliding beneath us

we can't go anywhere

aware of who
we are going in circle
worldwide

It's the edge of summertime
I'll soak in these last drops of
Sunshine
Cool breezes
and
Peace
:) technically it's the first days of fall but it feels like it's still summer...I'll take it while it last
She wanted to have a lover
That society wouldn't allow
She wanted to be married
But maybe not just now.
She wanted to have a baby
But she didn’t know how.
She wanted to be a wife
But she felt she was a cow.

Star crossed lover
All in one twisted person.
Stuck being a mother
Unequipped to be a good one.
Primitive cave dweller
Abandoned in modern time.
What she felt life did to her
Was an unfair personal crime.

Each time one would see her
Steam was building up inside;
A Vesuvius about to blow
Fire never banked, never died.
Walk on eggshells, careful words
Often not know what went wrong;
Something so carelessly said
As the disastrous day went along.

Maybe the child just said no
Or failed at some assigned chore.
Maybe the kid broke something
Or perhaps just slammed a door.
Then the punishment starts in
With screaming and foul names
Leaving welts and bruises in
Her standard sadistic game.

It would be so much better
If this was all an exaggeration.
But no, this is the ugly truth
So please take a suggestion.
Before we force another
Generation just like the rest,
Let’s make intended parents
Take a psychological test.

Seema
When days turn dark
And nights become long
When life loses spark
And you relate to a song

You stress yourself out
Reaching to a point of insanity
You just scream and shout
Unaware of the coming calamity

But your physical appears calm
While all this cooks up in your brain
Wiping the sweat off your palm
Hit by anxiety, yet you try to refrain

Soaked eyes, sunken with tears
Voices pushing you off the edge
Living each moment with your fears
Mind, heart all hanging on a ledge

So many things affects a person
Some commit suicide, some live and fight
Many are taught the right lesson
And so, the darkness slowly is replaced by light...

Stress slips deep if not controlled and may lead to unbelievable accidents.
Well, it's my birthday on Monday
Then I will hit the big 45
And what, in my own way
Have I learned about this life

Stay away from drugs and their dealers
They will bring you nothing but strife
I know it's not much, but I feel that
It's an important lesson in life

As for women, I don't know
Just try your best to find
One that won't leave you feeling low
Try to get one who is kind

I know this isn't a lot to know
But it will have to do for now
Hopefully I've a lot more years to go
To work out the rest, somehow

together as one
fragile we were
still green to the world
so we ran with the lust

together as one
growing we were
are roots now deeper
this lust turned to love

together as one
as the years flew by
we created this life
a mother you now were

together as one
as our last days approach
what a life we both shared
together as one
