I write poetry
in the midst of solitude

of infinite miseries
I yearned to elude

words engraved
in a rose-kissed canvas

are fragments of hidden
memoir of the past.

Cherish the scar
that once puzzled
you to believe.

Cherish the scar
that once vexed
you to forgive.

Cherish the scar
that once broke
your heart.

Cherish the scar
that once ripped
you apart.

Cherish the scar
that once was
your haven.

Cherish the scar
for you to take
the risk again.

A beautiful victim
of poisonous greed,
hurt, *****, abused
but was known to be
a monstrous villain.

I kissed you.

I ran my fingers
through your lips,
and smelled
the frangrance
of your hair.

I kissed you again.

"This is all we
could ever be",
I whispered.
I heard silence,
you slowly laid
your head
on my chest,
and tears fell
from your eyes.

I kissed you even more.

Memories
were made
to die,
like the sun
bid the moon
goodbye.

You are more than a lover to me,
you are my best friend
you are the coffee in my morning,
you are the blanket in my cold nights
you are my peace of mind,
you are in every heartbeat
you are the remedy I believe,
you are one of a kind,
I could never find
someone like you in a lifetime,
this love,
this beautiful feeling,
you are the only one
who can define.

Taal Volcano Eruption, Australia Wildfire, Corona (Wuhan) Virus and now, the death of one of the basketball Legend, Kobe Bryant.
