The concepts
Saw hope in an afterlife
But they lacked sweat
Pooling under
Clenched hands.

And after all the clatter
Reality settles in
For the remainder of the seconds
I consume.

Not knowing what to feel
Might be the worst of them all
That's when we fall
The farthest.

There was a flurry of orchards
All burning under a crescent moon
And the gasps of the unfamiliar,
How they stared like a passerby
All wanting more.
No one is willing to listen
and so I write
...

Sunshine
Falling in love young.
It's a risk worth the take.
But you know what stings?
Not knowing what the future brings.
Im not really a poem writer but lately ive been going through a lot and decided to write poem (they might not be good but they help me express my feelings) because I dont always have someone to talk to.

Lost Soul
I watched her fall
hitting the ground
she tried to pick her self up
just enough to crawl
to get away from you
but you drug her close
to do what you thought
she did to you
but you didn't see
the sleepless nights
the endless fights
she had to endure just to be with you
she always protected you
did what was best for you
and in the end you say she's  selfish
left her while she screamed for you
she yelled your name
so she could explain, but you never came
cause you were too busy
playing this stupid revenge game
you watched her fall
you know she wanted to die
but you didn't care
you just put up a wall
she hit the ground
pretended she was okay
but her heart was nowhere to be found

I wanted to try shape poetry again, and I have to say this was MUCH harder than .leafing
https://hellopoetry.com/poem/2633672/leafing/

It took forever to align the slashes to give this poem shape, without them it didn't look like an hourglass.
I hope you liked this poem and I'd love it if you commented some links to any shape poetry you've tried out.
Hope you enjoyed :)

Torin
It was perfect before I had a name
I knew she was my wing-ridden angel the very moment my eyes were blessed
she laughs when she wants to cry
and her smile
it only gets deeper
she still holds the pieces of her broken halo...

once again I talk about wolves
because everyone has their problems
yes I do
and I've seen them circling fangs out
when I closed my eyes and made my peace with god
that moment
that moment lasted forever
and ever since I left it I am only trying to get back

yes i do remember when darkness was so constant I forgot about light
yes, I know how it changed me
she was the only beautiful thing I've ever known

Heaven sent me an angel
that's the only way
I wish I was holding her now
I wish I could tell her I love her
maybe I can
once again we talk about wolves
outside its raining
I love the rain
ok
