I am tired.
So tired of trying.
Yet, I don't have a choice,
Unless if I am dying.

Bloodshot eyes,
Overused mind.
Chapped lips,
I am one of a kind.

Is failure an option?
If yes, then why so?
I just can't seem to escape,
I got nowhere to go.
Failure leads to depression

Oh sunshine, my love,
My longing for you is at its peak.
In this coldness that wraps me,
Your warmth is what I seek.

I am envious, you see,
With the clouds that surrounds you.
They get to be with you all day,
And I'm down here, feeling all blue.

Oh sunshine, my love,
Why did we have to part?
Everyday, I get weak,
For you surely broke my heart.

Now your warmth is slowly fading,
The breeze is blowing it away.
Then I learned it only burned me,
And I knew I must not stay.

Yes, yes, I was a pawn,
I was on the frontline ready to be thrown.

Ever so sad that you took the advantage.

I was a wind-up toy,
Broken and abandoned because of misuse.

Somehow I was mended.

No longer can I be handled,
Agony will come to those who would dare.

The ember within me is starting to burn.

You shone like Summer,
Ever tantalizing and bright.
The golden yellow of sunshine,
Is reminiscent of your sight.

Auburn leaves fell,
Our passion glowed dim.
The gentle cool breeze of Autumn,
Enveloped our love that grew slim.

Skin pricked,
Frost infused our souls.
Winter proved to be cruel,
It signified our downfall.

Frozen heart thawed by Spring,
Veins filled with hope.
Emptiness no longer embodied me,
My soul began to cope.
