Star Gazer
I remember being a kid,
I could never find the words
to explain how I felt,
so I gave my eyes the chance
to explain how I felt,
they became reddened,
crimson from lonely nights,
scarlet from speaking too much,
and with tears as words,
one day my eyes stopped talking,
because it came to realise
no one is listening anyways.

Smile

Star Gazer
There she was with a smile
And though the scent of
Sadness lingered amongst me
Things were alright for a while.

And alright is more than I deserve...
It's a tremendous crime some women sleep in their beds alone at night
Taking pills to feel better about themselves
****, what happened?
You are magnificent, just a little lost
Show me your hurt and i will break the frost
Even when your pride is used and tossed
To the ground
I'll take you out of the lost and found
You're a fox that should of never been taken to a pound
At the end of the week, you're going to be the girl you always wanted to be
Maybe not a week, but as long as it takes
I'm game for the challenge
I Swear to you.
It won't be long that these women will be sleeping in their beds alone at night
When a male friend helps them like he should
Improving their confidence and humanity
They are out of shape but not for long
Not for long
Probably my favorite non-romantic and ****** poem. I love how this theme came together.

Alas! YOU have arrived
To soak up my words
May you drink them in
Delight in them
For they were penned for YOU
I know not your name
Nor will I see your face
But, you were on my mind when I wrote them

I knew you would come one day

And be touched by these few words
Not yesterday, not tomorrow, instead today
How was I to know the time
The timing I leave to you

I am just glad you came

Its never too late to proceed
For the words in my poems
Are meant for just the right moment
Filling a need
Easing some pain
Perhaps they turn your frown upside down

That is why ...

I continue to write

And ...

YOU continue to read
Ever notice how people meet your words at just the right moment

3am Girl,
tell me I'm not a fool,
to be falling for you…
tell me I won't get my heart broken,
worse than it has ever been.

3am girl
Tell me you fears,
open your heart.
I won't judge,
And maybe
I'll show you my scars
1st in a series of poems about a girl that changed my "3am"

I remember my Mother and how she took care of me.
I hope there is someone like her out there for me.
As much as I want to go and find her, I have to trust the Lord.
He knows the right time, place and person, how and why.

I remember my Mother and I think about her everyday.
I wish she could still be here to say everything will be ok.
But I know she is with Jesus and is guiding my way.
I just have to be patient and not let my feelings give way.

I remember my Mother she was like no one else.
I think about her when I feel lonely.
I thank her everyday for giving birth to me.
I want to make her proud and not look away from me.

So when I get lonely I remember my Mother.
And I pray to the deepest depths of my being.
That one day I will have it all together,
and God will have someone like her for me.

Where are the clouds?
I want them back
the sun is shining
