Born into this world,
Tears at the end, tears at the start

Never going back,
My story becomes a piece of art.

Unprepared and free-handed,
Keep the paint flowing.

Cover up any mistakes,
Who knows where this story is going?

Do I love? Do I lose?
Do I laugh at the pain?

Do I bite? Do I bruise?
What does my heart gain?

How will you decorate it?
Choke a bit on glitter.

Have you ever tasted paint?
*It tastes bitter.

When I'm too emotional
And struggling to calm down
I take a deep breath
And slowly look around

The need to stay calm
Has been ingrained in my brain
To stay away from emotion
And remain in my solid lane

I imagine a flower
Blooming bright
To remind me of what
I need to keep in sight

Get me a boat
And let me discard my shoes and float soundlessly away from loneliness.
Amidst these dark waters I do not believe I can capsize -
Because I ride this endless sea in search of half-remembered blue eyes.
I fall in love all at once, and much much too quickly.
I patrol the beaches, heart heavy with glances from strangers in dark rooms and corridors.
Get me this boat, and god, let me leave quietly, as the red Margate sun comes up.
I want to search for someone else to love -
I want so desperately to love !
If I find beneath the sea another boat of strangers waiting for me
Then I shall be on New Land again.
Populated with glances on trains, soft greetings, beginningless romances -
Rushed smiles and other couple's dances.
I am lost, lost, lost to this sea...
The silent sea, creaking mass of serenity -
Oh god - If only I weren't so in love with humanity.
This poem is about when you see someone across the street or in a bar or in a dream that you fall haplessly in love with for a few moments. It's been happening more and more lately.
If a tree fell in the woods and spoke to me – I wonder if the words will mimic the ones printed in the books it turns into,
or if the wisdom will be reminiscent of its number of rings,
I lost count at 23 –
The age you were when you wanted to tie the other end of the rope around the braches,
you saw them reaching out to the sky,
a serendipitous commonplace in your eyes,
well I’m thankful that the tree came down with the storm and that you found your footing among the leaves.

Believe me when I say --
That I never meant to tell you to speak out of my own need to make my life better than it should be,
I just wanted to make it okay--
To let you tell the truth instead of telling only what you thought you wanted me to hear you say.
                                                  You were afraid --
That the thoughts in your head and the rings in your trees made you unfit for this world,
and that the city’s ambience would always drown out the gusts of wind at the shores of Walden.
That no distance to run would take you far enough away to find ears to hear of your suffering,
I promise that I’ve never been more pleased to say you’re wrong.

Leave me out blind
I'll be dancing in the wind in time
Leave me out to love
I'll be on a bended knee
Stand with me on the aisle
With epic vows from your troublemaker
I want to be yours & you mine
I'll be your forever till we ghost

Leave me out blind
I'll follow your scent through the maze
All day, everyday
I'll draw you a smile
The one that fits your perfection
Through thick 'n' thin
We'll be scared together

Leave me out with a pen
I'll be with every version of dictionaries
To help define my love
But even words aren't enough
Beautiful!
A word never tire of saying
Just keep following the heartlines
It's your way home
To your Forever & Always.
