Creep
I forget its night time where you are,
not morning like me,
because I feel like you're right next to me.
eh... hate different time zones sometimes...

Creep
I sit here in tomorrow,
as you lay there in yesterday.

I can tell you what's to come:
a broken glass,
some tears,
and too many tubs of ice cream.
Oh an the best thing of all:
a smile
that will surely come.
idk... wanna write something nice but i cant lol
its 12:30am where im at and for some of my friends it might be 11:30pm or 10:30pm or even 9:30pm...

2am
I try so hard
not to hear
your quiet tortured sobs
ripping through my head

I try to sleep
but I can still feel
the weight of all your tears
weighing down my pillow

I try to ignore
searing pain gnawing
my every tender limb
from the blades you took to yours

I try to close
my bloodshot eyes to block
images of your bloodied body
laying beneath once clear water

I try to move
but its as if Im frozen standing
watching you fade away countless
times, your heart never stopping

I try to reach
hoping to touch your weary face
wanting to wipe the misery
from your beautiful eyes

I try to show
you I exist but every time
I reach for you I break the mirror
and youre gone once again

I spent my early life
Looking out from behind
The chain link fence on the turkey farm

There they fed me right
Fattened up my thighs
After all, what could be the harm

If it was up to me
I would never leave
It's where I prefer to spend my years

But alas will come the day
When all good turkey's have to say
Arrivederci...I am outta here

I was born to be a Butter Ball
Unlike those sloppy pigs that live next door
To be a tender turkey is my call
And all you want to do is eat me
          Yes, you wanna eat me

They just took Turkey Jack
To the shed out back
Where we never heard from him again

Just like yesterday
With my friend Turkey Dave
Strange they haven't messed with Turkey Slim

Am I the next in line
Could this here be my time
My head placed on the chopping block

As I say my goodbyes
To all the gals and guys
I gobble to Mary Lou as an after thought

I was born to be a Butter Ball
So delicious they're coming back for more
          Tenderized to the very core
All they want to do is eat me

I was born to be a Butter Ball
A slap in the face to the Honey Ham
To be a tinder turkey is my call
Heavy on the gravy with a side of yams

Now that you know my tale
I hope I told it well
Enjoy this day with your family and your friends

So remember then
Don't leave the stuffing in
And dinner will go the way that it was planned

I was born to be a Butter Ball
The highest honor of them all
Into the open oven I must fall
Cause all you want to do is eat me
Yes, all you wanna do is eat me
Back by popular demand...
Well not sure how popular but it's back!

You always come to mind
when winter rolls around.
I can't help but to recall the time
we spent burning marshmallows
by the bonfire in your backyard
or how your mother would make
hot chocolate and beckon to
our hiding place underneath your comforter.
I remember the winter of freshmen year,
after we had grown up and apart.
Out of jealousy that was unnecessary,
my heart ruined everything.
It took so long to get Us
back to normal...
Nearly two years.
Now here we are,
closer by heart than by body.
A little bit older, a little bit colder.
Let's see what this winter brings.
I've tried and tried to rewrite this and work it out...
This is what I've decided was "worthy".
For Scott. Welcome back, bud.

Just 10 minutes a day
could bring about a change
Instead of the 10 minutes that I waste
giving it away
With the tick tock of the clock
the time is getting late
When just 10 minutes a day
could bring about a change

Yes, it is best to take some action
instead of just complain
Time is just to precious
to waste it all away
Many things can be accomplished
even in the rain
One big change is to finally find
Joy after deep pain

Just ten minutes a day
could change another's life
Wouldn't that be a better way
to learn to pass the time
If someone gives you a nickel
give back to them a dime
Because just ten minutes a day
could turn around a life
I want to thank Ann for coming up with these great ideas and inviting me along! Love you for that! Thanks!

South-by-Southwest
She gave me cake and a kiss on my cheek
Took my hand and led me away
To a wood where no one could see
There she kneeled down and begged me to stay
So I sat down amid the clusters of white clover
Then she leaned forward and over
And kissed me on my lips
Causing me to shudder

I had never kissed a girl before
But something beyond my fear
Said I wanted more
She kissed me again
This time I kissed her back
I think she was startled , and taken aback
She put my hand to her bony chest
"It's inside where my love does rest"
I was confused and did not know what to say
"It's all alright , it's all ok"

We lay down in the clover thick
I smelled clover and perfume at the nape of her neck
She lay her head upon my skinny chest
I put an arm around her there at her waist
We lay looking at clouds
She twirled a button
I tugged at a sleeve
Then she put her hand on the side of my face
Gently stroking , trying to trace
Then the warm sun put us to sleep
And I dreamed dreams never before or since
But then we awoke to her mother's call
"Coming Mother", as she ran away with all
Then through the years in class or hall
She would throw a kiss , a smile to beguile
Then one day her family moved far away
I didn't know it then but it was the ending
of my poem for today

I sent your love letters to a different address,
She will never listen like you do,
My picture frames are all on their bellies,
Between the wooden skeletons lies your face placed beside mine,
Even after the waves settled, you were the only daydream left,
The way your lips grazed my own,
And how our hands came together like puzzle pieces,
You tell me that you love my poems,
All these words are yours, take them from me,
Leave your regards on my machine,
Just to hear your voice again

The time of visitors is upon us
folk from all over the globe
pass by my window
rain or sun
they just keep getting off the ferry
and walk up the road
Amazing

Musarrat Bte Salam
Days pass by like restless flickering lights,
In the misty street you drown in thoughts.
Memories roll like a blue film,
And you breathe in and wander,
If the black holes exists.
Surely if it does,
Can it stop time?
Or bring back
Me to
Life.
Love
And hues,
All the joy,
Were stolen gems
Which were trapped by time.
All the stars know these words.
They know my story and more,
Back in time is where I belong.
O’ vast sky, spread the message of mine.
For I truly want to be back in time.
