Do you feel there is no mercy,
With none to comfort you ?
Come there is a hope for the weary,
Jesus will shepherd you.

No life was offered like Jesus,
Nobody careth like him,
Shedding His life - blood for sinners,
Nobody careth like him.

Are  you  now  straitened and trembling,
None to assuage your fear?
He knows the tears you are shedding,
Jesus doth answer  prayer.

When the night hangs upon your soul,
With guilt of carnal mind,
Look to the Lord Who can make whole ,
Jesus the Saviour kind.

When you are smitten with sickness,
Ailing  with racking pain,
Healing doth show forth His goodness,
Jesus doth ever reign.

Future unknown makes all dismal,
And life an empty dream,
He is the way, life eternal,
Jesus -all Heaven's theme.

All my pain and loneliness
scribbled in a paper
hoping that some day
everything will be okay.

Even the air that I breathe
the butterflies that fly around
even the leaves that fall on the ground
I take note of it
because those little things that were barely noticed
fill the void inside of me.

It calms my soul
it’s where I find my rest
Your creation sings a song
that only my heart could hear.

You know that I’m like a child
who marvels at the beauty of Your creation
it’s where I find my hope
to look forward to tomorrow.

I am not alone at all
for You are there
You are everything that I see
and all along
it has always been You,
my Comforter,
my Savior,
my Father,
my Creator.

I fall upon my knees before my alter to pray to our Lord Jesus Christ
As I close my eyes, my mind goes blank
What do I pray for?
I know I must praise him and all his glories, his forgiving ways
I know I should pray to be more like him
But I cannot
To pray to be more like Him, I have lost that want
What do I pray for?
I know that I am in need
But will He even now hear since my belief wanes so?
Do I dare be selfish? Do I pray for me?
Do I pray for my own redemption?
Though people say my soul is pure
I know how my soul is tarnished, unclean
Especially since all I can think are selfish thoughts,  and prayers only for me
What do I pray for?
Do I even dare?

When poets mention the name of Jesus
within their poetic endeavour
its always worth a read;
simply because the name of Jesus
holds within the spirit of peace
sounded deep from eternity.

In every need, small or great
tangible or intangible
may I have the discernment
to see God's lavish gifts of grace
the wisdom to receive them
the eagerness to open them
and the passion to cherish them well

"Now faith is the substance
of things hoped for;
the evidence of things not seen."
Hebrews 11:1

Faithful in His answered prayers
you can't tell me He's not there
I would swear before a judge
who's ten feet tall, and holds a grudge
I would tell a court of law
what I've witnessed. what I saw
my testimony you may find
is a 180° change of mind
I still walk. I laugh. I breathe
the aura of God's love received
I was headed for an ugly death
I owe the Lord my very breath
If He had not intervened
my poetry would not be seen

to die is gain!

O to stand firm here and overcome.
Not with my strength but with Christ.
To never allow evil to change me.
But to always trust in the Great Creator.
To walk in love everywhere I go.
Now this is the life that I want to live.
To love others with Christ perfect love.
Now this is my desire most of all.
To love them with unconditional love.

What went through your mind, oh Wondrous Creator
When as baby Jesus you let out your first cry
Did you know at that moment you were the Savior
Of this fallen world and all of mankind

Did you recognize your mother Mary
And see her as Your special child
Only you God at such tender a moment
Could give us your all at such tender a time

Did your first sight at creation astound you
As you looked through the blur of finite
From the beginning you'd always seen clearly
In the presence of your Fathers light

Did the warmth of God's Spirit surround you
As the December chill settled over the land
Were you holding the hand of the Father
In the transition from Son of God to Son of man

When you heard the first bleat of the lambs
Were your thoughts on being the shepherd of man
That would lead all those gone astray
Did you already know of that day

These are questions that I tend to ponder
On the greatest gift the world's ever known
I will praise you for all of the wonder
The first Christmas that your love, my Savior was born
Merry Christmas my friends!
