I see you clearly
Behind that screen
Down deep inside
You're quite like me
A craving so strong
You spend hours
Writing songs
Yet that's not all
  That we seek...
So hear my words
I think you're superb
Always on point
And unique
And please like
Who you may
Or start your own thing
At the end of the day
I hope you curl up
With someone sweet
You won't get no hate
   Out of me...

One more spin around the sun
Time flew as ages run
Come tomorrow time not to borrow
Hope smile prevail ending sorrow
Remembered by facebook day
Just another friend on the way
I need not a gift
Love be the only gift
Turning 40 tomorrow
My wish let one day god ends everyone's sorrow
Each and everyone of you have made a impact on me.
For you Truly are more Special , then you shall know.
With your Beautiful words , you make me sad, cry.
Laugh, Smile, Think, among the other emotions too.
I just really want you to know that you really so Special.
When Jesus the Christ , created you he wanted to touch us all.
With your Gifts of Touching each of us with your Gifts of words.
He has Truly Blessed us by you, so I want to say Thank you Poets

I just wanted to let everyone know
Thank you everybody for liking and reposting my poems.
Stupid me didn't thank everyone for this and now it would take me a while to go back and reply so I officially wanted to say thank you so much I appreciate it so much means the world to me. Okay now I can do it more respectfully
The Wild Turkey burns for a few seconds then
slips away
The mellow burnt barrel taste returns bringing
a smile to a weathered face
The sweet breath of Alabama dries the morning rain
The shots continue till the pain is slowly consumed
by thoughts of better days* ...

Alas! YOU have arrived
To soak up my words
May you drink them in
Delight in them
For they were penned for YOU
I know not your name
Nor will I see your face
But, you were on my mind when I wrote them

I knew you would come one day

And be touched by these few words
Not yesterday, not tomorrow, instead today
How was I to know the time
The timing I leave to you

I am just glad you came

Its never too late to proceed
For the words in my poems
Are meant for just the right moment
Filling a need
Easing some pain
Perhaps they turn your frown upside down

That is why ...

I continue to write

And ...

YOU continue to read
Ever notice how people meet your words at just the right moment
I choose to see the beauty in people.
I will leave the ugly rhetoric
to the media's narratives.
Can't mess with those stereotypes and comatose generalizations;
that 'fuckery' that steals away common sense from ours and future generations.
You become what you give your attention to.
I spend my divine currency of kindness in loving you.
You are apart of God's divine plan.
He wakes you and me up each and everyday.
In my soul's faith I know that everything will be okay.
This is why I continue to pray.
Because I choose to see the beauty and best in people.
This keeps me upbeat.
Because I try to imagine what God sees in my fellow soul siblings.
And from that cosmic perspective;
I go about my business.
For father God is in charge of each and every plot twist.

A poem about humans respecting each other..

Not mine, but truly beautiful - and exactly how I believe things should be - not only love - but life, work, self-esteem, everything.

"Dear Human: You’ve got it all wrong. You didn’t come here to master unconditional love. That is where you came from and where you’ll return. You came here to learn personal love. Universal love. Messy love. Sweaty love. Crazy love. Broken love. Whole love. Infused with divinity. Lived through the grace of stumbling. Demonstrated through the beauty of… messing up. Often. You didn’t come here to be perfect. You already are. You came here to be gorgeously human. Flawed and fabulous. And then to rise again into remembering. But unconditional love? Stop telling that story. Love, in truth, doesn’t need ANY other adjectives. It doesn’t require modifiers. It doesn’t require the condition of perfection. It only asks that you show up. And do your best. That you stay present and feel fully. That you shine and fly and laugh and cry and hurt and heal and fall and get back up and play and work and live and die as YOU. It’s enough. It’s Plenty."

if you read these words
and shed a tear for you
not me my heart will
butterfly into the ocean sink
if you see yourself floating
amongst that foam
the surf
the spray
may you think again
that is you
my dearest  care me my
you in me

Sometimes...
I feel like I came from
Another planet—another world;
Like I do not belong here on Earth.
Do you think so?
I do think so.
A daydreamer I am,
A night-thinker too;
Still, in a perpetual soaring with my head in the clouds...
