I'm not always smoothly gliding along
At times the Tempest catches my wings in it's Turbulence
I'm accommodating to these warring winds giving in to flip, flop, spin, drop until a pocket opens up to relieve me.

I'll plan for descent when I feel to weary for the sky's macabre mood
To find a perch protected with plentiful foliage, embrace the day on level ground calling out to find another near who would like to share my company.

We could look upon the Earthen grounds, take interest in the World around, listening to all the sounds, add our Voice to the Symphony if so inclined to join in.

My Call has gone unanswered as of yet, my Thoughts have wandered off to other things, wait the day, take a rest, for when the hour comes to find the Sky has calmed~My Wings will shake away the dust of stillness, rising in the calm resistance of Air and Wing, working perfectly together, gracefully assisting my Flight's Ascendance.
A day in the life of a bird on a day to rough to fly the Skies.

Forgotten Heart
I am going to miss you
             And
it's going to hurt me
          Like hell
I am going to miss you all my life
and you are going to regret all your life

____________

Cruel is the new kind

_____________

silken lies fall from my mouth

a sickly sweetness that only overcompensation can bring

and you swallow it all down,

vanilla cherry icecream ssmoothies.

_____________

a sweet tooth for white silk lies,

wrap your self up head to toe in my illusion.

______________

you have my body but never my soul

I promised it away aeons ago.
Cruel is the new kind...

Draped am I, across his chest and
with heavy hands, him firmly pressed
to me, in dark rooms; split with light.
Legs are tightened and glazed eyes, bright.
To feel his lips as they swallow my tongue,
above heaving ******* of two so young,
would be transcendent if he were mine
and eloping as lovers in heat, sublime.

A shadowed denizen writhing, elated,
under a favourable mouth falling, sedated.
Grappling, unfastened,  vivacious and soft
as against the wall pushed, and held aloft
was I as a body, so virtuous - yet carnal
and was held again with a hunger, infernal.
Again were we guilty in a frenzy so vicious
of a tantalizing ecstasy of resentment so delicious.

Light my fuse
strike a chord
with verses mightier
than the sword

Charge my synapses
til my light turns on
Spark my senses
when the night feels long

Bend me contort me
fuel animation
direct and guide me
for mutual stimulation

Send me a thrill
write me a tale
Whip me up into a frenzy
you can use Royal mail

write my menu
Whet my appetite
with foods that arouse
and please in plain sight!

kindle these embers
make me shake my jelly
but most of all
fuel the fire in this belly!
A cool breeze ripples shades,
as long shadows loom,
chill air a lovers touch
on sun drenched skin.

Eyes half closed
I float,
dreaming upon a tide of blissful shivers.

Seeing stars, constellations blinding
as a universe collapses within.
Laboured breath
gives way to pleasure's voice unfettered.
My mind unrepentant,
as velvet is tipped.

Our skin is a thin veneer
Plied over masks
That put a face on
Our many selves.
The visible outward features are shallow;
Beneath, we are change artists
Vigilant through eye holes.

At last I’ll unleash this fervent impulse to grab you, fused, no slit for air to breach
Bodies become one, lingering there to escape time
If only I were a ribbon, I’d glide around your skin in one long sensational movement
Set your pulse to mine, a faster, breathless beat
The reality that I’m yours more apparent with every silk touch
Take it, my body is yours to chart, it begs for you, your words, your lips, your being
Transformed by truth, my reality expands to the universe
Everything I am, sent to the stars and back by the sound of your voice
To you I am forever true, for these eyes that inspire your fire only seek you

That girl held dearly,
Soon crawling  in the yard;
Eating grasshoppers like Einstein,
Might change our world.

That boy slurping soup
With no thought of seasoning,
Spooning ferociously.
He'd pass Edison's test of reasoning.

Your teen may dwell on video screens
With keenness as he shoots;
Fischer was the same, I hear,
When mating his pursuits.

Our youth mould with nuance
Unknown or heard;
Like Beatles when they sang their story,
Changed our world with words.

You see that child with quiet demeanour,
Shy, wise and independent;
Misunderstood and fiercely inner,
Strong-willed and confident:
How could that child hurt himself!
She might think of suicide!
What is it that we recognize
Only when they've died.

Sometimes the precocious go on display,
The kind kind, not the snide,
They reason well, abstractly think,
Still, they're lacking pride.
Although this child loves the test,
She'll play piano with the best.

Nose in the shelves or cheering,
Joining clubs or donning jerseys,
This one belongs to many groups,
Can “stand one” in the pub.
Friends get a wink or inside joke.
Their loyalty counts when they vote.

The flower vender didn't know
When selling flowers to Van Gogh,
His flowers would always grow.

The orchard worker had a flaw,
He left the apples far too long.
Now we've Newton's Law.

In the bar fight, glass was broken,
Swept out with the rubble.
Copernicus saw that glass that day
Now we have the Hubble.

We know parents rarely see
The true presence of a genius;
But we live in fortunate times
We get it when we see it.
Like sitting in a Hawking's lecture,
Having Cohen sing to us;
Some who voted for Gandhi,
Can still watch Messi play.
Old men fish with Hemingway
When they read his book,
We can watch a Hitchcock,
When brave enough to look.
We sit through Lear
And hear Shakespeare,
Or tour St. Paul's with Wren;
Stand and stare at  Dali
Until the world unbends.
Or just walk Rome.
You may even find one
Sitting at home.

Rely on natural ability.
Persistence precedes reputation;
Provide the extras and common sense,
And love will lead to eminence.

Children breathe our same air,
But  exhale differently;
Genius can be found right here,
Before posterity.
Sweet pain brings pleasure divine
As molten bodies meld
lovers sweat in summer heat
unabashed,unafraid.
trusting touches deep within
bring blushing bliss to form.
bound to bed by silken ribbon
frustrated hands seek wanton flesh
and hungered mouths fall silent.
As slap-stung and brazen
I beg for more.

"Life is hard,"
she said,
"and life is sad.  Life is one
thousand crevices carved into your heartscape,
By human fingernails,
even your own."

"You will feel strongest, somehow,
when you cry.
You will feel that there is nothing left
that can harm you
and you will be wrong,
and you will be right.
And you'll beat into your head your own lessons
and others will beat the
kindness
and
empathy
right out of your mind.
You will be shaken,
rattled to your core
time after time,
and each time you'll find that your heartscape, your center is more
brazen than blind.
It has its own mind; It has never resigned.
Swim the caverns you've carved
into your insides and
realize -

You are not damaged, but exposed.
Opened up like a
flower
blooming toward
the light."
