beth fwoah dream
the song of a leaf
scattered on the winds
of dream
imagination-lighted
to crisp gold,

the steep arches of
the night,
blown open
a fire-rose
dreaming of
love.

Would you mind if I wrote you a love poem
Would you care if I shared it with the world
Would it be okay if I filled it with cliches
As in I am the oyster and you are the pearl

Oh my, it'll be an absolute delight
Go ahead, let the earth be smitten
Let your words float in the twilight
It'll be a beauty no one has ever written

I ask would it be too much
If I compared your beauty to that of Spring flowers
Or how I could just sit here and stare
As I dreamly while away the hours

I'll be flushed with humility
As I am just one of His thankful creations
I'll allow your gaze even through infinity
Admiring beyond my imperfections

Would it be to much to say
That you put the night stars to shame
If I had my very own galaxy
On it I would place your name

You can ask the clouds and sky above
How your words touched my heart to the core
The unfeigned expression of your love
I'm truly blessed, couldn't ask for more

While all above is true enough
Against your beauty nature would lose
I think instead I'll make this poem
A simple "I love you"

It is such an honor to be able to write with one of the brilliant poets here, Mike Hauser.
Thank you so much Mike, for inviting me to do this collaboration. It was a lovely experience. YOU made it so easy! :)

times are
when words seem
to have lost
their power
to be spoken

they stubbornly refuse
   to form
on the same lips
from which they flowed
only a heartbeat
ago

difficult words
they have become

I love you

forgive me

I love you

out of a dreamless sleep
my wristwatch's chirping electronic beep
brings me back slowly to the world

not without doubts of some primeval kind

I try to cautiously adjust my mind
and turn
   with sudden fear and apprehension
and find
   the world is still alright
and you are here

He understood me.
Just like that.

All my life I never expect anyone
to understand me even a single bit
Not once.
Not ever.
Not a single soul ever did.

And I was fine with it.
I did not mind.
I was used to being misunderstood.
Every day, every week, every time.
No one ever understands, and that was expected.

But he came when I least anticipated it
And he understood me.

I don't know how he did it,
But he did.

You came to my life
And taught me a lot of things.
You inspired me
Beyond what could have been.

You were the storm
That changed my calm skyline.
You were the sun
That lit up my dark world.
You were the fire
That burned my worries away.
You were the catalyst
That propelled me forward.

You gave me everything I needed
To grow, to prosper, to be better
Than I used to be.

You gave me so much meaning to my life
But I can't give anything to you in return.
And I'm so, so sorry
That there's nothing I can give
To be able to return what you've given me,
To be able to mark your heart,
To make you remember me,
Like how I will always remember you, 'till my hair turns grey.

not until
   not so long ago
I recognized
that saying thanks
only with wordless deeds and gestures
may not be enough

we need to
   hear
GRATITUDE
spoken out loudly
   in words

silent appraisal
   is not enough
   over time

so I speak out
in deep appreciation
   of your hard work
   to make us
   stay together
against tall centrifugal forces
the division of
   distance and time
   distress and separation
   barriers of the quotidian
   multiple obligations

I thank you
   for being with me

even at times
   when you are almost
beside yourself

I thank you
   for being with me
and being you

Tell him I said "hi",
I think it was a lie,
When I told myself,
I wouldn't fall for him.

Tell him I asked "why?",
We couldn't see what we could've become,
How it would've been all perfect,
But I forgot these were all just what ifs and would haves.

Tell him I wanted to go back,
Visit the past when were still just good friends,
I could've settled for just that,
But selfishness occured.

Tell him I asked "is it wrong?",
For me to fall in love with him?
That it was considered sin,
For me to look after someone with no conditions given?

Tell him this is goodbye,
I think it's best we part ways,
I'm done with being jealous and not being able to do anything,
That it breaks my heart to see him with someone.

But one last thing,
Ask him if I could just love him from afar,
Because seeing his smiles,
Heals the wounds he gave my heart.
I wrote this poem for my childhood friend who I was in love with for 9 years and up until now. I haven't had the guts to tell him, he's straight and I'm gay... We won't work out
My starry eyed beloved let me show you all the galaxies
We will do seek advice of moon on your blooming pride
Then we will have the real taste of all lovely love candies
Allow my love beauty to ride on this journey side by side

It will be a glorious venture to explore heights with delight
In ecstasy we will know the pleasure of life to seek,to take
Dancing passion will carry us to eternal height on the flight
Love in the lap of beauty will dance to take and to partake

My love let not the weather of love pass and surpass silently
Let have an eternal embrace to celebrate it for times to come
Let us be far far away from cruel clutches of world to be free
Let be on the glorious path of love to flourish and to blossom
