It changed me
The way I see the world
A saw the sacred scrolls
The woven numbers
Layered beneath reality
It Left me a touch of strange
a hint of madness
But greater understanding

Idiosyncrasy
You told me not to be sad
When the rain starts pouring,
I should dance and enjoy
Under the rain.

So that's what I did,
Dancing to the beat of the taps
As the rain falls,
Remembering you.

But you were like the rain,
Just when I'm in the heights of my emotions,
Just when I was falling hard for you,
You stopped, left.

You left me cold and wet,
You know,
You could have been
The arms that wrapped me tight.

Sheets of ice
Like shards of glass
Cut through
Severing emotion from life
Saving a soul from pain
Rebelling against warmth
With negative degrees
Safety in solitude
Blissful ice-olation

i don't know how to do anything other than love you
even when you're the storm
pushing away shelter
i will wait for you
when you bury yourself in sadness, i will ****** my fingers and dig you out
when you can't find your self belief
i will hold your hands and love you anyway
when your mind becomes a battlefield
i will bring a sword to fight your demons

i'll become silence when there is noise
i'll be an open palm when all you can do is close your fists
i will teach you how to speak when your heart has nothing to say
and one day,
you will die with the knowledge,
that somebody loved you,
more than she loved herself

gabe
"Oh, how I love the rain,"* she mutters to herself, feeling the rain trickle from her face down to her feet.

Most people loves the sun,
she prefers the clouds.

She loves the rain,
for it keeps her sane.

It keeps her safe,
and serves as her escape.

if you wake every morning
and do nothing to make your life better
it will not get any better
if you wake every morning
and do something to make your life better
then surely no matter
how bad life might seem right now

it will get better
