contradiction, sorrow, and vulnerability,
a trine labeled as all mine,
yet, this triumvirate, well know & shared,
but more and moreover,
set aside if/when well dared

this comatose trilogy that so oft astrides,
when the beacon moon stands us up
with white lightening,

after hope  has washed away,
out to the sea deep of
crusty sleep,
newer versions of older stories uncovered,
re-revealed,
warmth, golden light and
hope above hope,
in the weakened human heart are,
must be,
unsealed...

a lovely one, a rising one, a revelatory,
a poem releasing secrets,
we can all, with time, all of us,
be healed...

Ignatius Hosiana
She wasn't only beautiful but also good
Because all who cherished her understood
That much as she wasn't long, she was vivid
And discouraged them from being timid

She wasn't a flower but she was petaled bright
And her each and every word came out just right
She burnt ******* melancholy to ash
And her gorgeous make could only be matched by a calabash

She was a mysterious octopus with tentacles everywhere
Little wonder, she comforted all who needed her to be there
Short as a mortar, her speech touched the sky
Touched the joyed without forgetting a single cry

She was everyone's dream, ask those who had a glimpse
Outrageously treasured for such an Imp
She was a kind soul,a gift that kept giving
Those that kept reading, even the grieving

A strong charming lass, but as vulnerable as clay
A mat of lines intricately woven for hearts to lay
She was a thing from a mystical place within
A poem none would cease reading once they begin

Looking back at photos of me looking happy
A nice slim figure
No extra weight to carry
No face to be ashamed of

I have a house with no mirrors
Because I get disgusted by myself
When I happen to see a glare in a window
I only feel tears

"I'll call you sometime," he says as leaves.
That will never happen, ive so many times learned
He looked repulsed when he saw me
And my stomach just turned

Even my family feels hopeless
That one day I'll look lean
Around the table aouside we relaxed.
Later They hint I'm too fat
On my fat giant ***, the chair too small where I sat

Diets and cleanses
Jogging and biking is pointless
As fat just seems to add
I just get more sad

Nobody knows in the dressing room I cry
After rejection I sob
After a meal I feel guilty
When I breathe and I live
It seems so silly

But maybe one day I'll be happy and skinny
I won't be alone, eating won't feel like I'm sinning
So the mirrors that I threw out
The pants that are huge
The face disgustingly ugly
The way I look, I have no excuse.

Day 1: I want to tear my skin off. My heart is beating so fast i can barley breathe. I feel so filthy.
Day 2: I can't believe this. I don't want to be here. Why did this happen? Why did I let this happen?
Day 5: I guess I drank too much and my friends were to drunk to stop me.
Day 10: I can't face my friends, I can't live my life.
Week 3: No one knows. He hasn't said a word.
Week 6: It happened again, I was sleeping and he did it again. Why did I stay the night? Why didn't I go straight home?
Week 7: He left and kissed me goodbye. I don't know how to feel.
Week 10: My life's out of control, I can't believe whats happening.
Month 5: My boyfriend knows. But not all details. Just thinking about it, makes me want to take a shower.
Month 8: I finally came clean to my friends. They're appalled. They hate him now. I still feel filthy. I can't get his smell off my body still.
Month 11: The anniversary is soon. What am I going to do?
Year 1: I haven't spoken to him in months. I haven't thought about it in days. I still feel as if hes on top of me, why can't I wash him away?

Its an uphill battle with myself and others. Some days I can't get out of bed or even feel like breathing.
But I try not to let him get to me. Because if he sees my weakness from what hes done,
He's won.

As the peals of your laughter ring a silver bell aloud,
Being trapped in your boudoir, sinks in to my consciousness,

Every single time your desire moans softly in pleasure,
It's hard to find an escape route, from this happy entrapment.
She's a woman of integrity,
She recognises her beauty,
And her specialty.
Knowing she's not perfect,
She reflects before she can react,
She may not be every mans desire,
But that doesn't matter because its not something to require,
Love and total attention from one is enough,
Lots of times she laughs,
At times she even bluffs,
When life gets rough,
She gets tough,
She's a survivor,
Her familys reviver.
She's a woman,
A woman of integrity.

He said:
"let's pretend you don't come in waves of blue hair and mystery."

Lets take these shots so you can be a bad girl for me.
And I stood there toeing a half empty beer can
with my beat up boots thinking
"what the **** dude?"

He said I want to get to know you,
I want to see if what they say is true.
I look up through the smoke and the lights and the crowd
and tell you "It is".

And this excites him. "Oh yeah baby I know what you are".

"What am I? I thought was nothing but a blue haired mystery, an enigma, a presence to be desired...",
and he leans in to me, his gin soaked breath in my ear:

"You love, are a ******* temptress."

So now I have been reduced to all damsel all lust all distress.
Those stupid princes never stop to wonder
if the pretty face in the tower even wants to be rescued.

Cause babe, I never asked to be saved.

Cause maybe I have built these walls to keep men like you out.
Or maybe I just wanted to have the chance to
invite you in on my own terms.

Maybe I just wanted to be able to escort you out.
This has never been my prison, this is my tower.
My legacy.

Misty Meadows
Dreary fever that runs
Deep in soul,
Is just as clean as murky ponds.

Within myself, I search for light--
Which is dim and demons fond.

Perhaps, the light of night and stars,
Or placid shine of aching moons.

I yearn for light, yet dread what’s bright.
Fearful tunes or lovely gloom?

The heart that thumps beneath the flesh
Is only grand as rotting log.

And light within this soul of mine
Is clear as blood,
And dense as fog.

I know your name well.
Like It's embedded in my brain.
I know your name well.
It is a bit complicated to explain
I know your name well
I believe it keeps me sane.
I know your name well.
You are the essence of love.
A lovely presence from above.
I could address you by name
but I'd rather call you Beautiful.

I call you beautiful.
Yeah, that's right.
Id rather call you beautiful.
It seems so suitable for you.
The way you do what you do.
That's why I call you beautiful.

I know your name well.
It feels so unusual.
Like I met you
In a past life but
I could be delusional.
I know your name well.
If what I feel is mutual
then I am meant
to be with you
In physical and spiritual.
I know your name well.
Baby can't you tell?
I'm a nervous ****** wreck
but when I'm around you.
I come out of my shell
and off my minds carousel.
To bask in your presence
and hope that we
don't say farewell.
God, I know your name well
but I'd rather call you beautiful.

I call you beautiful.
Yeah, that's right.
Id rather call you beautiful.
It seems so suitable for you.
The way you do what you do.
That's why I call you beautiful.

Sometimes I think
That I might love you.
Maybe it's because
I can see through you
the way that you
can see through me.
Your beauty
is not only skin deep
but it's also on the bone.
So when beauty fades away
I am left with what
made me feel
at home.

That is why
I call you beautiful.
