Twin stars:
"They smiled and smiled
With all rainbow colours,
Exuding felicity upon
The skies.

Standing in your own light
Creating yourself a shadow
Now it’s too dark to see
Wherever it is you’re going
The light is fading fast
And you’re all alone
There’s no one there beside you
To help you find your light again
You can’t move out the way
It’s too hard to do so
You want someone to move you
Send you in the right direction
Out of the way of the light
So you can see your path again
***
*** is a four lettered word
flaunted by very bad vowels
fevered to ecstacy
by all tangled-up adjectives
Then pounded into submission
by perverted nouns
that take their free liberty
of the subjective
Once surrounded
by the iniquity of the parentheses
you will only utter commas
at the Benediction

Down-beat and shallow
Wedged into my coffin
With very little air to breath
With nothing very much to see
I'll be sick if I don't do something
Without a care in the world
The feeling must be cruel
I want you to be okay

**And I think you will with what you got fixed
And I think I won't with what I've got set
I drown in the shallow end and nobody blows the whistle
With enough chlorine I'm bound to disappear

How dare I meander through the woods,
And touch the trees with my fingers?
Nature wails loudly like a siren,
Yet here among the trees humankind lingers.

The grass crunches under my feet,
It might as well be the skulls of the innocent.
Nature exists as a cruel force but
Compared to people it is benevolent.

Smoke trails from chimneys to the sky,
Like black ink staining bright pages.
Mother Nature’s very tears consist of acid,
Which has accumulated throughout the ages.

Forests are ravaged so that we can have amenities,
Have the desired fabrics, papers, and things of the like.
Humans draw from nature as if it is expendable,
And the environment cannot retaliate nor strike.

When a child is beaten by his parents,
The world is aghast,
For how could one so young
Motivate hatred so vast?

Yet so few weep for nature,
Which in essence is that same crying child.
Unable to raise a hand in defense
Against destruction that is so wild.

Our fingers are stained with Mother Nature’s blood,
Yet we dare to bask in Her beauty.
We have failed to protect her
And we have abandoned our duty.
Your fingers,
wrapping around my cuffs ripping the seams
That's your revenge it seems
till the hard come down had set in,
what you would scream, now stays within.
You've run through the pipelines in my head.
Sewer dreams.
Let me stay ***** with you.
I seek and quest about the world
With hands both harsh and tender
To see the flag of fate unfurled
And all of it's cruel splendor
I seek the songs e're gone unsung
And singers not yet made
For these are echoes not yet rung
And heroes not yet bade
Pity not my humble task
Though humble it may be
For when it's found this 'I' and 'you'
Become a stronger 'we'
