A gaze falls
like a sunset

never

setting in the same spot
.
Four little lines you get,
just a sweet verse quartet,
please, take it home to pet,
a warm cuddle when you fret.

Gather the dead
for we will burn them all.

Leaves,
skeletons of summers
life
                      cremated.
Would you know a poem I wrote
Would you know me from the note
Would you be able to recognise
Or would you be fooled by my  disguise
Would I give the game away
Or incognito would I stay

Our clocks where seconds apart,
  but within those moments..

        We never really caught
                                   that instant,

when we chimed in
                           synchronicity.

And what had felt like hands near
                                        each other.,

had woefully drifted ever further apart.

When all the trees are but
                  paper notes in a vault.

What will be the riches of man.

Where shall he beg for one more leaf.

Shall he look hollow when he cries
              gasping for breaths of regret..
U used to be the sun
Who held together my whole
World
Then I was this super Nova
Who changed u
But u didn't change me
The way I wanted to act for u
.

I wish I could fade,
lay back,
close my eyes,

and fade...

through the continuum,
to a desolate place,
where peace reigns majesty,
and birds sing me awake,
as dawn paints the starry sky,
over a silver mountain lake,
clear as a mirror.

Stone monoliths rise to peak,
feet on moss and grass
make electric natural connection,
the smell of fresh air
and the scents of the flowers,
isolation tastes like honey,
sweet as a dream.

I wish I could fade,
lay back,
close my eyes,

and fade

never to return.
