Let me rest in the arms of slumber,
For my palanquin has arrived.

Decorated with white lilies,
Let it be carried by its bearers.

Today I'm the bride and my groom is Patiently waiting,
I can see him smile.

In his mysterious smile, I know
I've lived a beautiful life.
This is how I see death..  The most beautiful truth
The air is soft, a wisp of happiness
Emanates in the atmosphere.
The sense of comfort and peace,
I breathe it in and hold.

I want this to last.

My thoughts dance wildly,
And not one ounce of negativity
Enters my mind.

Exhale.
And I can breathe.

What you think,
you become.
What you feel,
you attract.
What you imagine,
you create.

I hate me.
I hate me not.
I hate me.
I hate me a lot.
Dead from 8-4
Fingers sore
Weak core
Faxing war
Still poor
Nothing more

Out the door.
College is like being a bird
You jump out of the nest
You have two choices
You either fly
Or you die.
Not really a long poem, but this popped into my head earlier as I was studying. It is so important to want to go to college for yourself in order to expand your knowledge. If this is not the case, then you will surely fail.
I'm sorry for whatever I did
to make you not care
I'm sorry for whatever
made me disposable
I'm sorry for
everything I did wrong
I'm sorry
I wasn't good enough

I'm sorry
I'm a horrible person
I'm sorry for
failing you
I'm sorry for whatever
made them better than me
I'm sorry for whatever I did
and am apologizing for.

A seat at the precipice -
Stained and rusted -
Weathered by decaying leaves
Fallen inside the boundaries;

A caste to live within,
Without tight-knotted
Morals on wrists -
A place of slow progress

And little growth
To foster little changes
Meant to brace a wall
Built of shortened breaths.
Y’know that moment.
When the air leaves your lungs
That split second of deprivation
That instance in which your body,
Stills in anticipation
For a sweet, delicious, drink of air.
And in that very instance,
You are unwittingly knocked out of homeostasis.
The very nerves within your lungs cry out.
Your muscles tense, and for a millisecond everything freezes.
The world becomes still.
The wind no longer blows, the clouds halt,
The stars watch and the universe trembles.
The noise finally becomes silent
Your agonies and pains evaporate
And you exist in that instance, only you, just you.
So for one moment, just a second, close your eyes
And take in a deep gulp of euphoria
Yes, that’s it.
Breathe.
