A tangled heart
Is a work of art
Sweet, deliberate, crochet.
Spare no thoughts
That the prettiest knots
Must all unravel someday.

The sound of your voice caressing my ears
This I miss
The feel of your tender red lips like the petals of a rose
This I miss
To have you back in my arms again
How I wish
The mistakes I made to lose your tenderness
The tears I caused your gleeful eyes
The pain I caused you can't be explained
The rage I feel losing you can't be contained
I MISS YOU and the joy I felt at the call of your name
Sencond chances are rare use the first wisely

my simple words - unspoken
as time stands still, my heart beats
harder until the ties loosen,
smoothing the edges
unbound in the curve of your lips,
leaving my world
speechless

I write poetry to forget you. Hoping with every clever word phrase, you'll find your way out of my memory.
I just want you to know, betwixt all these fancy words and captivating images there's a broken girl who sits dangerously at the end of a piece of drift wood as a tornado approaches the shores of a distance beach.
There's a crooked smile singing the praises of some self found confidence that could be bottled and sold in the nearest gag shop.
There's a record player in my chest rotating the same three songs all with the same sad tune of "maybe this time". There's an empty casket going into an unmarked grave for feelings I thought we could share but never quite died.
There's a timid hand shake wrapped in insecurities doused in ambition and remorse for the words and actions that lacked excitement when I took the hand of some fragment that should have replaced you.

The girl who got made fun of,
The one who cut her wrist,
Her story finally took a turn,
And the ending has a twist

She’s not alone anymore,
She has no reason to cry,
Her story has a happy end,
She doesn’t have to die

The girl who was close to breaking,
And almost followed through,
Well she has a new perspective,
And it seems she likes the view

Her friends all came back,
To listen and understand,
They really do love her,
And want to lend a hand

But darling if it wasn’t for them,
This girl she would be dead,
Thank god they had saved her,
She’s got a bright future ahead

Now she's on the right track
Her head in the right place
and she's got a bright future
That I can see, it's in her face

Her eyes now they sparkle,
That spark will never fade,
Because now she has strength,
To put down her last blade

The girl who got made fun of,
Who once wished she was dead,
Her story finally took a turn,
She's got a bright future *ahead.

Your smile was my escape from a world of torment

your eyes were like portals to a land of bliss I felt like the strongest till I felt your kiss.
shaky kneels and wild thoughts.

though your truth were lies and your words were illusions

a thousand questions  a thousand answers with a million buts

a lonely heart scarred by your bladed tongue I love you but not for long.
Pain is a part of moving on . The truth hurts and people lie buh every shot at recovery is worth another try

Bored of the land and all on it

Wondering what lies above that above me.

A field of blue with tufts of white like little cushions for gods .

Off to another plane  where the irregular is regular .

May be in the clouds there are no worries .

May be in the clouds there are no fears

A promise of heaven a promise of peace Free of hurt and filled with bliss

Now I envy the dead *** they don't feel

Calmly laying there after a life spent
Souls headed for the clouds

Forever starts where life ends .
Pain changes people
