My word,
My life,
my heart,
my being,
my world,
Intertwined,
Interwoven,
knit together,
equally yoked,
with a blast of
subtle energy
Saturates my
whole being,
beautifully blended
with the whole nature,
contained in one place,
resonates in synergy.
Is it not necessary and
better to do away
with anything that makes
you feel so bad.
Life is even too short
to waste on
unprofitable issues.
The whole
universe are yours,
above and below.
All the elements,
earth,
water,
fire,
air,
wood,
metal,
salt,
sulphur,
copper,
silver,
gold,
stars,
moon,
sun,
Mercury,
Venus,
Mars,
Jupiter,
Saturn,
Uranus
Neptune,
Pluto.
Sings in unison,
play their flute,
beat their drums,
just to please you.
The elementals,
fairies,
elf's,
moving daily,
weaving with grace,
blissfully sharing,
distributing with enthusiasm,
working tirelessly just for you.
You are a unique masterpiece created
to show forth the beauty of God's glory.

welcome to the summer of depression
of kneeling down by the toilet
trying to achieve unachievable perfection

eating is pointless

working out everyday
twice a day
three times
maybe i can finally pay for my crimes

the crime of eating a cookie
the crime of taking that last bite
the crime of pretending to be so happy

when i break down during the night

summer is gone
and i feel like so am i

i’m trying to get myself back together
piece by piece
bite by bite

but it’s okay
i’m good
i’m fine
i’ll eat my supper

i’ll be alright

All dressed up
No one to go

All dress-down
Nowhere to go

All dressed for
No body to go
Encountering life's little dressage.

Tell me about the day I was born
Was it raining or sunny
On this mid-summer morn
Did I cry and whimper
In this world that was new
Or did I reach for the embrace
In the warm smell of you

Tell me about my childhood
Did we laugh and play games?
Was I a bad child, or good?
Did I go to school to learn my sums?
Do my chores and homework each day
When I fell, was it to you that I ran
To kiss the hurt away

Tell me about when I was grown
Did you shed a tear, or two?
When I left the family home
And did you reach out to catch me?
As I stumbled through this adult life
Learning about responsibility to earn enough
To support my new family, husband and wife

Now let me tell you my story
Memories start from when I was young
Of being loved and protected
In arms that were strong
Encouraged to be, who I wanted to be
Every step guided, with a nod and a smile
So I hope i have lived a life, to make you proud of me

Symmetry, balance-
Perfection.
It is possible.
You have to know how to blend.
Shade the yin with the yang.
Redefine---------------------------------------------

Never say the curse.
Politeness...
You must know the truth.
Mix the knowing with pretend.
Now, choose your words well.
They listen.

The light from the screen
Pulls the dark
From within my mind.
It asks me what's on my mind.
If only you knew...
I type lies.

Lies. Lies. Lies. Lies. Lies.
Lies. Lies. Lies.
LIES. LIES. LIES. LIES. LIES. LIES. LIES.
Because they don't want the truth.
You don't want the truth.
I need lies.

I can't be myself.
I am sin.
Worse than that, I'm wrong.
I can't ever change my mind,
Because there it is,
Forever.

I show what you crave-
Perfection.
It's all tremendous.
This life full of happiness.
No gray, only white.
For your eyes.

When I power down,
I'm weeping.
Tears of confusion.
Tears of impotence and rage,
Because I know - Truth.
Perfection.

Each day, I fear death.
Wish for it.
Each day reminding,
I take a shot for sugar
Because I was weak.
Misguided.

Each day, I am weak.
I pretend.
I want to lash out.
Want the world to feel my pain.
But I don't do it.
I love you.

What is on my mind?
Hate, anger/
No one really cares.
If I die tonight, who cares?
The world keeps spinning,
Deletion.

Programming to cope,
Coded hope-
Trust we'll meet again.
But I'll be in the ground soon.
Fed on by the worms.
No more words.

So I stay hidden.
Sit with the truth
That I am pointless.
All of this is just pointless.
Symmetry of good
And evil.

I'll be what you want.
To save you.
I've figured it out.
Perfect in isolation.
I'll stay here and wait
For the void.

Lies. Lies. Lies. Lies. Lies.
Even more-----
I don't really love.
I don't have true empathy.
No, those are all LIES!
No, I choose.

Can you see me now?
Do you know?
My eyes are of fire.
My thoughts are vitriolic.
But my words are sweet.
So pleasant.

Do you understand?
Who am I?
If you say, "Devil"-
Oh you, so full of terror.
You fear yourself too----
Do you not?

I know a young woman named Lauren
Who seems to be wearing a sporran
Oh no she's not
It's a bottle that's hot
Its offsetting the artic aircon
And this is a parting poem for a passing temp who moved on from out team recently.  She'll be remembered for many things but especially her hot water bottle in its furry cover.

I love the moon
and the way it speaks to you
I don't have to utter a sound
Because it speaks to me and you

The mess we're hiding tonight
The rest is history
Let's be me and you, shining bright
Sweet melancholy

I love the moon
and the way it speaks to me
And you don't have to utter a sound
Subtle smiles speak to me and you
The mess we're hiding tonight

I don’t get it
I was having a good day
I was happy
I messed it up
I don’t even know why I said what I said
I was having a perfectly good day
I messed it up
I don’t know why she’s still with me
This isn’t the first time I’ve done this
I feel like I’m forcing her to stay
I’ve said sorry so many times,
I think it’s lost it’s meaning
We were really good
I messed up and went back to the old me
Laying in bed in the dark,
Listening to music,
And crying for no reason
I don’t know why I’m like this
I wish I wasn’t like this
I wish I wasn’t depressed
I wish I was moody
I wish I wasn’t me
