At the core of every secret

Is the truth*

A truth we are unwilling to divulge

Yet through time we evolved

To learn truth is the best solve
~ for a time the truth may rain havoc but lies will lead to certain death

~ moral of the story - as difficult as it is its best to always tell the truth even if its ugly

Possession
Of my mind
Of my heart
Tears of loneliness
Thinking of you
Your rejected love
My rejected thoughts
Of you and I together
Memories of other times
When you would smile at me
And I felt waves of passion
But that day has come and gone
You left me here
To bare the weight of this pain
The longing to see you one last time
The possession of my body and my courage
To hate to love you

Who are you?
The you we keep writing about,
We- the poets; poets around the world,
Across time immemorial and
space immeasurable,
We write about you,
We shape your skeleton
With the strength of all the pain
We've borne, and we sculpt your flesh
With the wistful beauty of our tears,
We bring you to life with our words
Make them course through your body
Like blood,
Who are you?

The cry of our first heartbreak?
The joy of a lover's return?
The stunning silence of absolute loneliness?
Of turmoil and torment, the stinging burn?

You're all of the above,
and more- profoundly more,
You're a piece of every poet's heart,
Infinite power, immense emotion,
You are the cumulative of every drop of blood
The poet has shed through their pen
You are the story that stays stifled inside
the confines of paper, until someone comes along
And unlatches your locks,
Absorbs the burden of the poet's grief,
And at that moment, brings you to the form in
which you had been intended to be.

It is then, that you, the very essence,
the very soul of the poet,
Can take flight, blissfully relieved,
When you are read, your creator is finally free.

pen and paper to my chest
with nothing to say
just tired of everything.

This is the age of tragedy
we are drowned
in the sea of technology-

nothing matters now--only
devices, gadgets, machines, contraptions
that claim: 'We'll make you happy'

This is the age of tragedy
blown over a thousand times Orwellian prophecy
none is free--everyone is subject to the minutest scrutiny

We regard ourselves smart--or supposedly-
but prostrate before that highest authority
faceless, feelingless,  mute,  the ubiquitous and iniquitous LED

This is our self-afflicted tragedy
in our proclamation: ' Progress, progress at any cost'--
we have lost our entire humanity

When you are in tears and your heart is heavy
help is on hand, you won't be lonely
just flick the switch,  browse over Wiki.

remind me to love you again
when my veins bleed
instead of my pen

remind me to love you again
when I've gone insane
when the pills won't kick in

remind me to love you again
when you have no one else
to talk to until three am

remind me to love you again
when I'm all alone
when all the love songs
won't make sense anymore.

It struck me—every Day—
The Lightning was as new
As if the Cloud that instant slit
And let the Fire through—

It burned Me—in the Night—
It Blistered to My Dream—
It sickened fresh upon my sight—
With every Morn that came—

I though that Storm—was brief—
The Maddest—quickest by—
But Nature lost the Date of This—
And left it in the Sky—

Everyday I tell you, Saranghe
But you always say,Mianhe
You're sorry that it can't be me
The one that you can love truly
Just how much sadder this could be
Loving but not having been loved in return

Someone who fights for you day and night
Someone who wants to see you soar high in the sky
Someone who risks their life so you can survive
Someone who accepts their fate to see you choose your own
Someone who drops to the base so you can reach the pinnacle
Someone who faces hell so you can experience Heaven
A soldier is...
Not only someone that fights in a war but someone that will do anything for you
