You have caged me
The moment your predatory gaze
Met my unknowing eyes.

You fed me with fruity words
That I devoured
Like a hungry bird.

Your kisses seared into my skin,
Branding me yours
Like cattle to its owner.

Then you found crimson lips
More delicate than mine.
So you set me free.

Told me:
"Fly away,
There's better pastures elsewhere."

Though I want nothing more
Than to soar,
I cannot.

Because you come at me
Like a swarm of bees
All snug and perched
Inside my memories.

it's 10:42,
and all i want is you.
this room keeps spinning and spinning,
and i don't know what to do.
there's eighteen different voices
demanding i make these choices
because, girl. it's the bottom of the inning.
stop. there are too many noises.
it's okay. it's all in my head.
still my veins are dripping blood red.
oh, how i wish i could go back to the beginning,
but i sit here hoping that i'll just drop dead.
so here's to a stroke of luck,
to life not being able to ****,
to having you back because then i'll be winning
instead of crying my eyes out like a pathetic ****.

rub your collarbones over mine and leave on me the smell of your skin so I can finally have something to wake up to

you can have all of me

You were supposed to be my forever
My heart ached for you
I was was blinded the moon
Never looking deeper into the clouds
My thoughts were birds
Pecking my fingers
Letting the ivory bone show through
I knew then
That it wasn't meant to be
That I was trying to feed my starving soul
With paper
And I cut to let my desires bleed out
Until a different pair of fingers
Brushed my skin.

Paul Cassano
(First Verse)
The bugs cower to me and they collide with one another
the birds eat them up, you start to walk up to the counter,
I thought to myself, "Wow, wow, I've finally found her...",
We discovered each other, and of this feeling I'm ******* sure,
it's otherworldly
Like we criss-crossed and tied, our lives hover, gnarled
Ran across with a stride, brush aside any fright, fear and/or strife
Say hello to her, "What can I get fer ya?" - "I concur,
this for sure, isn't life. This is her, that's for sure, she must be my ******* wife."

Quite the relation - I'm not sure
I know that I hasten to, answer her question of,
"Can I get an application?" - uh
"You've got my attention what's, the variable here, for this equation!"
"PAUL!  Patience, you really need to calm your passion.
Answer this poor girl her question,
then you can think of this connection."

"Yeah, hold on."

"Yeah hold on? That was weak as **** my man.
Expand a little more next time; try and play another hand."

(Chorus)
You will get another chance, so no worries,
do not fret,
she will not misunderstand,
you can say the right words, no regret
even when you think you can't.
Rap track depicting the story of when I first met my love, working at an ice cream joint my parents owned over the summer.
It's a work in progress.
