Cold heart.

In the beginning,
A slight flame,
so pretty.

There is no cold,
Just a lack of heat.

You still were the warmest place they knew;

To even force a fire out of you.

To burn you down to ashes,
Left with not even a spark,

There still is no warmer place than you.

Even when it's left with no fire,
Not even warmth,
But cold.

Look at me.
Defects and flaws,
I wear them as
my crown.

Sometimes,
Emotions take up the role
of a backseat driver
while Logic drives drunk,
ready to crash...
And maybe that's why life gets ****** up. ..

Rain I

Today it rains
Just like yesterday and
I can't hear the rainfall
Through the closed windows
But I'll gaze through them
and wonder what
the fog might feel like
as it ghosts through my fingertips.

betrayal is a dance
discouraged,
yet you still take my hand
to a melody misunderstood,
the rhythm becomes lost
within the loneliest liar
lying safe tonight
My doctors asked if you don't write
Poems for them to be liked, and
Loved why do you do it?.
I write because it is better than popping pills, that will become invisible handcuff.
I can write the pain away and bury
Feelings in lines of poems.
Not everything i write is good maybe its stuff no one wants to read.
But if one person sees my poems and believe, theres a better tomorrow then
I helped someone.
A pen paper and words can heal more
Than what pills can heal.
This poem came from a conversation i had with my therapist, and talked about the
Power of writing ans poetry.
