A Tear in your Eye
From the depths of my heart, I yearn to be,
A single tear in your eye, so close, so free.
To be with you in your worst,
To be your comfort, the first.

I close my eyes when I am with you,
For the soul perceives what the eyes cannot realize.
And when my eyelids fall, I see you through—
In dreams, as in life, love's greatest rise.

I close my eyes when I am with you,
For good things are felt by the heart, not by sight.
My love, my dearest, sanguine, always I knew,
We’d meet one day, surely, undeniably, despite.

From the depths of my heart, I yearn to be,
your worst enemy, your greatest ally.
To carve myself a place in your memory,
for to live is to be remembered, by and by.

A Future Unseen
Kim Seul Nov 12
For thee, perpetually, I persevere,
standin' still, proud, without fear.

Longing for thy grace, torn by misery.
'twas my path–despondent, and fiery.

Thou art but a blessing from above,
an angel–mine–filled with deep love.

The reward from my suffering's finality,
a singularity of hope, in life's absurdity.

And, the day God bestowed thee unto,
A light in my sky, my lovely guiding star.
Amor, si no es contigo, (Love, if it's not with you,)
yo no quiero a nadie má'. (I don't want anyone else.)

I've thought of our future, though I’ll never see those days.
Are you just a dream, or real in some way?
If my end holds a reward, what could it be?
Is the final prize simply you for me?

Reflexions DeAmo
Kim Seul Nov 5
Always judged, yet now I stand to judge,
not to scale your beauty, nor your grace,
but to appraise your heart, and such.
An angel's guise to ward off evil's face.

In benevolence, with its might, it uglifies,
to shield from harm, to halt the cries.

Avidly burned the longing for beauty's light,
for the devil dons allure to deceive the right.

Tarrying for the sight of arrival
sanguine still, despite deprival.

Ward off the darkness, be my guide,
Be my angel, in you my hopes lied.

Light my world, be my savior.
Be my alchemist; I am in dire.

Silent Woes
Kim Seul Nov 5
When I speak of the desires of my heart, they designate it insanity,
yet what they'll never savvy is that just like the nature's care for naturity,
I, too, have cared for you, since the first time I came to see your quiddity.
Even so, you too will continue to see it as nothing but a boy's mendacity.

Watching the stars above yearning for happiness,
my extant soul slumps with despondence,
the melancholic glisten of the meandering clouds, an inefficacious prospect,
reminding me of my world, a life sans zest.

I still reminisce of the time we met, a starry night with a mesial crescent moon;
The Hour before the Holy, the ephemeral moment blessed by love, purity, and strength.
The enigmatic attraction I felt, the way my heart ached, begging to be united with yours, soon;
the daze I lost myself into, coupled with the way you took away my breath.

And I dare proclaim, that I cannot live without your voice;
your sweet whispers, accompanied by your smile.
The way you look at me, makes me rejoice,
in your eyes, I see a future worthwhile.
Your hairs flutter sound, alluringly,
engrosses me so naturally.

Yet, we stand here as friends, pretending to be nothing more,
the fear of rejection shaking us to our core.
I do think — think about you all the time,
but it cannot work, for I am a dime a dozen.

Would you still look at me, despite life’s horror?
For I vow to stand by you, never to depart,
In sickness and in health, for richer or poorer,
for better or for worse, till death do us part.

When we are talking to each other, our faces adorned with an ideal smile,
And nobody would ever know, the reason behind the shine in our eyes.
But we know—I know, this is the joy, the love that our hearts compile,
It’s pain we hide with love, reflected in the tremble of my sighs.

When we are going back home, hand in hand, cheering like birds,
And no one would ever know, the reason behind our zest.
But we know—I know, these feelings can't be expressed in words,
the loneliness we've kept repressed, deep within our chest.

When to you, my love, I prove, together, just me with you,
Time halts its flow, our hearts lose themselves in bliss.
It’s the way you move, that reminds me why I fell for you,
It’s the way, beneath the moon, you glow, tempting me to steal a kiss.

Those eyes that hold the world, and hold me too,
I just want to lose myself and be lost in you.
It’s the small things you do,
That remind me why I fell for you.

And when your eyes meet mine,
I see something truly divine.
The small things you do,
Make me fall deeper, always true.

And when we are apart, unable to interact,
That's when joy depart', my heart in longing, wrapped.
Yet I endure, when I miss your touch,
I close my eyes and feel so much.
For when we're apart, and I long for you,
I close my eyes and see you through.

When we reunite at twelve, you make me feel myself,
It's the way you call me, the way you let me be.
When you look at me, I feel so alive and free,
In your embrace, I find my heart's true place.

I've always thought of my future, and now I find myself content.
For you are a reality, not just a dream, not just my delusion.
And the reward my end holds, I now know of it in present.
The final prize is simply you for me, 'tis but fate's decision.

Dream Girl
Gazing into your caring eyes,
Time sure flies, an evanescent prize.
An aura born of selfless care,
yet in your heart lie limits, there.

In silence, at misery you smile,
rising only, when worthwhile.
I see the strength and grace you display,
making troubles seem child's play.

Two trees, growing side by side,
Surviving through time's tide.
Though deep within, a traitor lies,
you remain true to yourself, no matter the disguise.

A saint of lighting, thriving in the dark,
A ray of knowledge, a guiding spark.

Like dandelions in the air,
You rise toward a future fair—
A world none yet can live without,
But all will dream of, there's no doubt.

The You I Need
Since the first day, you carved your place,
an ineffaceable mark, a gentle trace.
In my heart, you became someone,
not a dream, but a love outdone.

You became someone--my guiding light,
through darkest hours, through endless night.
Not perfect, no, but human true—
the you I need, forever, you.

Day by day, I searched for your face,
in others, in moments, in every place.
Your words spun like whispers in the air, anew,
“You’ll find me,” you said, “I’ll wait for you.”

Two paths diverged at a juncture,
Should I chase you, or wait for you?
Shadows of something cloud my mind, a future,
where we are together as one, as in two.

Five signs I’ve seen, too clear to ignore.
A month gone by, yet I feel you more.
I stand at the crossroads, scared, and lost.
If I betray them, I betray my lore,
but if I betray you, I betray my cost.

The world has nothing, my heart bleeds,
for the you I need, the love it feeds.
So, come to me, death, my dearest life,
the you I need to end this lasting strife.
