In the dead of night
tragedy strikes
you now have to tread lightly
as if walking on spikes

you walk the path lined by trees
it is long and winding
in the moon lit breeze

let them think what they want
it won’t matter now
theres nothing to lose
when you’ve let everyone down

you come to a stop
by the big old oak
the words are sharp
and you let them soak

soak in the water
in the lake that you love
and you come to the realization
that this was your last crop

you reap what you sow
as they used to say
and now you know
the price you will pay

a tragedy it is
and i don’t think you can lie
as you walk into the clearing
where, surely, you will die

Tossing and turning at night
I can’t sleep
What’s on my mind?
Why can’t it shut off?
Were you trying to speak to me?
Just tossing and turning at night
I can’t sleep
Tossing
Turning

Thinking of you...

lost
he

lost
he
he sits and stares
through glazed eyes

wondering what life could be,
beyond his lies

secrets secrets secrets

envelope his racing mind
causing him to scream inside

what would life be,
if he were no longer trapped inside?

I wanted all the things
You wanted
I just didn't want them
With you

Darkened days
-and brightened nights
Stooped to lows
-and chased the highs
Collect my breath
-As it fades away
Must I live like this
-Another day?
The sleep, it takes me
-So deep, i'm set free
The dreams, they whimper
-The screams, they linger
They're stirred
-They're blurred
Until they can no longer
-No longer
Be
-heard.

You were a fourth born, snow-born, breeze
Wild as the first sight of a western scene
And I was surprised, by the furious snow
As I didn’t expect you so early that Fall
Not furious... She was... Wild!

sometimes
when i look back to you
i am astonished
with how your eyes
meet mine
paralyze me
with this look
that words cannot describe

Softly.
Run your fingers across.
Never break the touch.

Gently.
Look into my eyes.
Make yourself welcome.

Slowly.
Grasp it with grace.
Silently dissolve.

Beautifully.
Uncover yourself.
Merging into one.
