To this day,
your name
still hurts my tongue
but I still say it anyway.
Sometimes I like to
hear my soul
gently tear itself
apart.

Look forward
Never look back
The past is in the past
You can never get it back
Shoot for the stars
Keep your head up high
Everything will fall into place
Puzzle pieces will always align
Keep your dreams in your head
Always putting up a fight
In the end it's you for yourself
Dream big for you and nobody else...

When your footsteps falter and slip
Hold on to me
If your eyes fill with tears
And the future seems blurred and distant
I'll be there to take your hand
You may not see me
But you'll feel me there
Right beside you
Always
So hold on to me

The moon is sitting
hauntingly beautiful
on her window
lovely wisps of pink scattered sky
glancing at her behind the trees
she imagines your hands
on her night skin
and she wants to write poetry
on your palm
she wants to write anything
about the oceans and the stars
and she wants it all
to mean something.

And tonight
she misses you so bad.

Wistfully
Wishfully
My daydream drift
Takes me eye to eye
And hand in hand
On a sunny morning
Somewhere
Settling dust
Step by step
And side by side
There's a tide close by
Responding to gravity
And gravity of sorts
Draws our souls
Fatefully
Inevitably
Together

when we were tracing
constellations, chasing
stars and drinking sun
tea from mason jars;
thinking our time
would never end
as we embraced
infinity as the
best of friends.
