Cold Hands
Nieve Oct 2016
The way your hands hold mine
So warm
It spreads to my own chilled fingers
Bringing new life

The way you smile to me
So bright
It calms my hidden storm
Making me forget my cares

The way you made me happy
So indescribable
It was nothing I ever felt before
Sending me hope for another day with you

The way I hold your hands now
So cold
It isn’t like you at all
Making me wish that you didn’t leave me

Love, a dangerous thing, can be deceitful, twisted, vile, and full of confusion and pain if you choose to love the wrong person. It can be a long and difficult trial. But once you find the right person it can be the most beautiful thing in the whole world. It can be full of warmth and happiness. Love is truly a magical feeling.

Devotion
Nieve Apr 2016
Your voice whispers through the wind and on instinct I follow it.
My heart be stills at the sight of you.
As I watch you from afar, it soothes my harden soul.
A spell has been cast upon me
And soon I am under your control, willing to do whatever you desire.
I am, to you, a devoted servant

Ursa Major
Nieve Jun 2015
Oh enchanting stars
Speak to me of your stories
Tell me of the Bear's scars
And how he earned his glories
A family torn apart
By the love of the eldest sister and a bear
The father killing the bear causing them to depart
Enkindling her to turn herself into a bear and causing despair
Youngest, magic one, save your siblings
From your once beloved sister
Shoot your arrows in the sky and end the killings
Turn each one of them into stars spawning a blister
As any can see with an eye
The story is forever imprinted in the sky
This is based on a native american myth of ursa major.

The Heart of a Lioness
Nieve Jun 2015
The Lioness is one of God's majestic creatures
She is mighty ferocious fierce and brave
Prides herself in her features
While killing the antelope she has desperately crave
The Lioness is filled with love
Only as she watches her cubs
With the lion her belove
And protects them from the hard stubs
The Lioness is not submissive
She lets the lion become king for as long as she pleases
Never permissive
Until hell freezes
The Lioness is the true queen of the pride
No one dares challenges her
If you do you will not slide
You will only talk of blather
If you hear her fearsome roar
then take heed of this lore

Blood
Nieve Jun 2015
Red as the rose
Thicker than water
More passionate than crimson
It pumps through my veins
And goes through my heart
Keeping me alive
From head to toe
All over my body
It's hidden beneath my skin
The only way for you to see it
Would be to hurt me
One slice, you will see it
One stab, you will see it
One hard hit, and you will see it
My blood makes me human
It makes me who I am.

Comfort Me
Nieve Jun 2015
More and More harsh words come
Others say it will stop
Till the end they won't
Here and now, you are with me and I won't succumb

Each day you are with me
Realize that I need you
I want to hear your kind words everyday
Little I give but you give more to me

Our bond is a strong one
Voice comfort me
Eager I want you to hold me close
You help me notice the sun

Oath and do not do any scurries
Undo my worries

Scissors and Needles
Nieve May 2015
How to leave a life full of pain? You can’t. It will always be there, even if you try to forget it. All you can do is cut it off and try to sew the broken pieces of happiness together.

A Little Girl
Nieve Apr 2015
As She looks at the world,
Nowhere near as a grown up,
Dying to stay as a pup.
Ready to be pearled.
Even with her temper,
As strong as a volcano,
Childish ways are a tornado.
How can she be this way until December?
A flower some say.
Viper some call her.
Esther some call her.
Zeus says her first word was yay.

A Promise Meant To Be Kept
Nieve Apr 2015
Are you still across the sea?
Don't make me rue for you.
Please hear my plea,
And make your promise true.
The promise you made when we were young.
The one, after all this time, that I still yearn for.
The promise that made my heart sprung.
That you would come back to me less than the yore.
Are you still waiting underneath the tree?
I remember, even now.
The place that gave us glee.
Where we played and made the vow.
I hear the song that you sing.
As i try to find your hiding place.
At least before the end of spring.
I wonder if I'm apart of the chase
Are you still remembering me?
I hold the memories of me and you.
And you hold my key.
You are my glue
I try to keep my hope.
Will I find what I Truly seek?
Or am I a fool or a dope.
You will, possibly, say that I'm not weak.
Are you still the same as my old bee?
All I know is that my love knows no bounds.
I will not rest until I find thee.
You make my world go rounds.
Just remember your promise
And return to me.
Am I a doubting Thomas?
I hope you will not flee.
Are you even looking for me?
My heart wonders and it won't settle for another.
I wait until I can be with you and be free,
Or unless you say something rather.
After all these years, I came across you,
But your heart belongs to another.
As I witness you and your lover, my own turns blue.
I leave this world by smother.
Are you missing me?
Don't cause such troubles.
Be happy with your love and be glee.
Let thine heart be free of struggles.

The Butterfly And The Spider
Nieve Apr 2015
The Butterfly is blessed with beauty and grace.
The Spider is eerie and withdrawn.
She flutters around to find Her perfect place.
He captures the heart of His next pawn.
Their souls never finding peace.
One day, He sets His elaborate trap.
Frightened and out of the whim,
She is caught in His web and a sudden hap!
The unfamiliar face captivates Him.
His world comes to a cease.
They look into each other's eyes,
Both hearts beating as one.
He sets Her free and sends Her to the skies.
She is left to be stun.
Her own feelings begin to increase.
These two creatures are different.
Their love was forbidden and never to become.
Despite the belligerent,
The devotion begins to succumb,
And the sorrowful souls were release.
"Please merciful goddess of the moon,"
The begged and resort,
Fearful that their passion would end so soon.
"Do not **** our love in sport."
Wishing the hatred would decease
The answer was to be entombed.
Their love was certainly a hider,
And from the start it was doomed.
It was a love between the Butterfly and the Spider.
