Be fair and just,
don't judge yourself too much.

We all have our flaws,
that is what makes us perfect.

I will fly upon unspoken word's,
like a flying carpet ride waiting
for you to arrive.

There I will pick the fruit
of fulfillment and gratitude.
Make you a salad to
help you grow and prosper.

You will be like a apple tree,
once I plant your seed
there's no stopping you
from growing.

Every word I spell,
every time I speak,
I hydrate your bloom
with my poems and artwork.

My technics are somewhat unique,
uncommon but yet normal
(for me).

I am bent but still not spent,
I am rich with knowledge
and growth.

Come connect to my roots
and we can become a system
strengthened by our
knowledge and wisdom.

Farewell my sweet poet,
may we meet again
tomorrow morning.

When the dawn is new,
the trees come up from their
bow, lifting their top's higher
reaching for the sun.

That's when we will meet again,
until then; goodnight my sweet poet.

Sit there and watch
the power of the moon
feel how you are moved
by Her
your blood at her mercy
Watch the tides and learn
to surface when it is safe
enough to breathe
wax with Her
and wane with Her
learn to swim with the
mutable tides
of your existence
navigate these hours
by Her
then see the bounty
of the moon spill into your life

The fall

I saw you. I fell in love.
A bit of a cliche,
but such is life.

Only I didn't really fall in love
when I saw you, it was gradual.
In terms of absence, that is, one day
I suddenly noticed you were not there
(I was able to distinguish  how empty
the world was without you in it).

This arrow flew a long time,
which only means that it hit
with grater strength.

You see, this is not love on a whim.
When I see you I don't think "I fell",
rather I flap my arms, taste the fear,
and think "Why the hell I don't stop falling?".

empty seas
promises
 Dec 2017 Meadow
empty seas
they said
they'd never use me
but they treated me like a tool

she said
she cared
but she thought I was expendable

he said
he'd never tell
but he confessed when I turned away

broken promises
fake smiles
you talk and talk
but never say
anything
close
to the truth
Most of my friends last year were the embodiment of fake, I'm going to leave them in 2017, hopefully.

And I Am Me

She's a beauty on stage,
A light at sea,
Forever she'll shine,
And I am me.

He's a greek god,
The perfect dream,
He'll defy all the odds,
And I am me.

She's the song of Dawn,
A gentle breeze,
A sweet summer love,
And I am me.

He's the flame behind the eyes,
His heart blissful and serene,
He's a gorgeous lie,
And I am me.

I'm the call of the wild,
Destruction and defeat,
Endlessly I'll wander
And this is me.

They never show
Their real emotion
While people watch
Their every motion

Everything they have
Is fake
If they'd notice
They would break

They're living in
A fake reality
They need to wake up
To actuality

We always talk
Behind their backs
If they knew
They would crack

They think we love them
They think they're pretty
But they really don't
Deserve our pity

Just so you know, I wrote a follow up to this poem that shows another aspect of pretty people. Thanks for reading :)

We are all just leaves on a tree
waiting to fall
to fall asleep
to fall to dreams
to fall in love
and to fall back to the earth
and grow and fall again

wounded heart
searches streets
for old lovers
or an ice cream parlor.

falling in lust w/ freezing
is easier than it sounds.
both cold hearts &
mint chocolate chip get the job done.

if the sun
doesn't embrace you with warmth
then i will.

if the leaves
don't blush red and fall for you
then i will.

if the flowers
don't bloom and burst for you
then i will.

if the ocean
doesn't sing you to sleep
then i will.

and if this poem
doesn't love you
then i will.
