Dark but not evil,
Hurt but not hurting,
She's been like that
She's been like that -from the beginning,

All the insecurities within,
And all the beautiful people around,
She was intimidated, bruised,
But she didn't make a sound,

She wondered,
"How it is so easy for them?
To laugh, to live,
And to make friends,

How is it that I don't fit in?
How is it possible for a human,
To be as weak,
As a butterfly wing?

And what could have been,
If only I was pretty enough,
Maybe,
Just maybe I wouldn't look so dumb."

After always being left behind,
If now she wants to be alone,
What do you expect?
If not a heart like a stone?

She's the hero of her own story,
A villain, at the same time,
Some days, she saves herself,
Some days, she has demons to dine

Come sit with me,
Tell me you've seen my struggle,
Show me you're proud of me,
Your empathy is what I seek,

I'm sorry you have to be here,
And that it has to be this way,
I know high expections,
Often ,from reality, leave us astray,

A few hours from your clock,
And you asking me to be more responsible,
This is all I need from you,
Even if the sun shines and the sky is blue,

I know you're looking out for me,
But I'm not looking for you,
I may be here wanting your attention,
Oh, but there is no compassion,

I've seen you making the effort,
And hopelessly trying,
Always righting my wrong,
But one day you'll too, be gone

Isn't that what always happens?
We care, we love, we break,
Isn't everything too sudden?
Scathing us for our own sake?

So why does it matter if I don't love?
Live by myself, indifferent to my pain,
For aching, our heart is never too young,
So why you say happy ones are the only saints?

I feel like an unsteady wave
In a big blue ocean
Going away from the shore
Every time -only going away from everyone and everything
Will I end up at another shore?
Or will I forever be going away?

They want to change you
Yet break you
They say they don't mean to
But they leave you

You're a damaged piece
They all could see
A sterile seed
Mended but unsealed

There's a long, long way
To the heart you don't give away
A path of dismay
Gravel of things left unsaid

You're a different story
With ravel, no glory
So venomous, so lonely
Ruining yourself impatiently

There's only one way to you
A twisted and crooked route
Understood by just a few
For you bear no truth

You're an illusion, like art
The end of a beautiful start
There yet is
A windy highway to your broken heart

I'm almost home
to the drinking
to the sad music
to the missing
&
The crying
To the praying
&
To the sadness
It's all I ever known
So I call it home.
Heartbreaks = Home to me.
Heartbreaks tend to help grow alot and I become better.
Please come to me,
maiden, so honorably fair
For you are the
most beautiful rose
in my forest

Please come to me,
maiden,  so honorably fair
For you shall grow in my garden
but with no sunlight
nor spring water

Please come to me,
maiden, so honorably fair
For your tears will soon be forgotten
when you submit to the earth underneath
I am hieroglyphic pottery
Broken before my
Time'd begun...
I tried to piece myself
Together, but found
The puzzle overrun.

I couldn't find the
Precious fragment
With which to keep
The water in...
It flowed out, yellow
And stagnant
Full of sickness
Full of sin.

Yes, I'm a hieroglyphic
Vase... a bowl with
Pictographs and runes
I'm whole now, you'll
Find this is the case,
I found the piece!
This blessed boon!

My hieroglyphics are
A summer scene,
The piece I needed
And I won,
Was the part which
Soared the heavens
The constant
Ever faithful

*SON.
Nope. Won't stop talking 'bout
my Jesus! Without Him I
would be dead in every
sense of the word...
Dying alone
in this kingdom
by the sea,
watching stars
going out...

In the restless waves,
In the shimmering blue...

My eyes are closed,
my heart has gone silent,
But a song will travel
upon a wind of memories
across the sea...
