Night falls through a brooding glass
Owls carries the fear of the day through an eerie sight
Moon shines on and consoles the forgotten souls
A Wolf howls from a Fearful hill
The night takes its form and structure
Ends and a new day begins

A child is born and cries, he begins to die as each day fades
Setting sun fades into*  COSMIC DEPTHS  to rise again
Sky turns from grey to silver, then black, then silver again
DNA encodes within a man to start another clone of his Father
Heart beats over and over again
Yet the heart gets the smallest amount of blood
All these
Ends and a new life begins

Birds tweet away the night's sorrow at dawn
Rain cascades and falls on Earth's landscape, as it romances the air and kiss the window pane
Families on sundays visit St Patrick's Cathedral and pray to God
As they did four years ago and still do concurrently
Women go naked to feed their damaged ego
The little children watch them on TV and go with the pace
Evil Fathers behind close doors
Romance their little daughters
And shut their mouth by threatening them with the knife
While Mothers pray and intercedes for the world on bended knees
While the moon hides and shy away from earth's darkness
While no
  STARS GUIDE AN EVIL NIGHT

All these too ends and begins in a never ending stream of continuity as long as we have breath

FIND LUNA~•FIND ME

Come with me
   Throw yourself into the night
Throw the night into the wind
Throw the wind into the night
Search through the Castles
And
Isles
Search all the valleys and lilies
Go with that wind that calls your heart
Go slowly~ transcend into the night
Find that whisper that searches
For you
It's calling you
Calling beneath the darkest clouds
Calling
          Calling
   Calling you
Go
              Go now
Find that whisper
Find the Night
        Find Luna
      Find Me

DEDICATED TO OVI

I see your words and I see peace
I read your lines and I find bliss
You mesmerize us with your poignant thoughts
Like rain that drops on the window pane

WHEN MIDNIGHT FLOWS
Like lilies that turn and turn and swirl
Like the bird *SPARROW

Cocooning the earth

You tell your tells like a Movie
Your poems are like splendour falls
With words interwoven and intertwined like peace
Like rainbows that knit the sky
Like when the cloud bursts and cry
Releasing her emotions as rainfall
ENCASED IN GLORY AS THE MOON
YOUR POEMS MESMERISES US
your lines ENCHANT us
You bring ethereal joy to this land of poetry
Filled with sadness and pain
Where every poet
Where every writer
Where every reader
Run into
Seeking for refuge
Seeking for that
Bliss
And like
THE STARS GUIDING THE MOON
IN COSMIC YONDER

your words shine down
Invading our deepest pain
Releasing our anger and anguish
You shine down on us
You light our paths in this den
And for those who do not like you
I say they like to be
SHROUDED
In darkness
But still
Shine
OVI
shine
Shine bright the way you are
You
Are a STAR
Shine bright through your words
SHINE OVI SHINE

Go through this Night
And search for that
that which calls you into the realms
That which haunts you
That which stalks you
And gives you a baring night
Go

Go through this Night
And follow the moon
When she slips through the Night
When she still travels
With strength
Travelling through cosmic depths
Before the night swallows her glory
Go now
For afterwards
She is lost
And you will never find your way

Go
Go now
Go through this Night
Find the Moon
Go beyond the MOON

THE TRAGEDY SERIES POEM 2

Painful is the sorrow that comes against Men
Harsh is the heat that poverty brings
Black is the night that comes with anguish
Stray is the bird that has lost its way
Cold is the pain of an abandoned Child
Piercing is the word that comes like a knife
Biting is the agony that eludes peace
Fearful is the thrill that an owl brings
And
Killing is the tragedy that comes with Sickness

1ST POEM

AVANA'S TALE

She walks around
Carrying with her
Pairs of agony
Anguish and misery
That taunts and stalks the very
Essence of her existence
With her are loneliness and a sad
Air of darkness
That continually fights and bites her
Still she dreams of helpers of destinies
That will surface someday to save her from herself
But none ever came to rescue her
She wished for a friend
Someone who would understand her
Someone who would read her eyes
Who would smile at her
And appreciate her

She dreams too
She longs too
She waited for you
She yearned for you
All she wanted was a smile
A smile from you
To reassure her
Of her lost dreams
Of the worlds she could not reach
And the years she lost
But you were quite busy
Surfing and aiming at the sky
Yet you could not
Hear the voice of her silence
Calling and longing for you
Wishing you were there to save her from the callous wind that blew out her soul

And so after waiting for a light to shine on her
After wishing the darkness would give way
After praying for angels to touch her
After the nights of terror
Swimming in the sea of sorrow
The ocean of confusion
The river of misery
Where the waves strangled and manacled her
Where evil fell on her
By the dark
Where sadness engulfed her soul
Where misery held her hands
And pain covered her mouth
As she screamed
Screaming in her tears
Where fear subdued her
And darkness began
Eating her
Swallowing her glory
Stealing her soul
From her very existence
Where no one could see her anymore
As she faded
Fading slowly
Slowly with the night
As she faded to the world of the forgotten ones
And there she laid
Lifeless, breathless
As you strolled pass her grave side
At night
You read

SHE WAS
WAITING
WAITING FOR YOU
YEARNING TO BE SAVED
SO PAINFUL YOU CAME TOO LATE
NOW SHE'S GONE
GONE WITH THE WIND

Her screams re echoes through
The depths of the night
As you walk away
Wondering
Who she really was

AND TONIGHT
MEN SLEEP BENEATH A STRANGE MOONLIGHT
TONIGHT
THERE IS
NO GUIDING STAR*

2016
This is the first of my TRAGEDY series of poems

It aims to express the depth of pain and unbearable anguish some people have to face

AVANA is my imaginary character that longed to be loved
Liked and appreciated
She waited for a savior
But so sadly she died alone
In the deep night

In the Church, I met a woman so old
Bending under the weight of years
I wonder what made her steal my attention
Was it her struggle to hold back her tears?

In spite of her frail stooping figure
She seemed to have an indomitable will
Defeating all infirmities of age, she stood
With a face though sad, yet tranquil and still

Strange enough, she recalled to me
The determined, but decrepit old man beside the pool
Whom Wordsworth had once encountered
Gathering leeches so scarce, but resolute and cool

I watched the woman humbly prostrate
And feebly rise and straighten her aged form
Surrendering herself at the feet of God
Imploring grace for life’s little tasks to perform

In her gnarled hands, she firmly held a prayer book
With the other supporting her frail figure on a staff
And with a sigh of relief, she left the church
As if her afflictions were reduced to half

As the Congregation dispersed in all directions
She feebly walked to her accustomed haunt
At the rear side of the church was a Cemetery unkempt
Where the ancestors slept, devoid of earthly cares and want

Among all the tombstones in marble and granite
Erected in memory of the kindred dead
There was a newly dug up grave
That stood aloof as a heap of mud

I watched the old woman approach this spot
Where she knelt down with a calm demeanor
Her withered hands clasped together in piety
And her eyes closed in silent prayer

With a convulsive motion of her lips
She rose up and once more knelt down
As if searching for a face so dear
Whose memory she could never ever drown

Within that mound, slept her only son
Who died in his prime, a month before
Leaving his widowed mother behind
To brave the shafts stinging, so sore

As Time by seconds and minutes ticked away
The bereaved mother stood up at last
And heavily yet quietly walked away
Leaving the one who was once her own part

                               *                          *

While the wounds of the young are quickly closed and healed
And their ductile affections entwine around new passions
The aged withdraw to the silence and desolation of life
Once when deprived of the love that life no more sanctions!
The pain of a widowed mother left lonely by the death of her only child is  something beyond one can possibly imagine !
