there was once an otter Ollie was his name

he loved to do graffiti and sign it with his name

he would travel round for some where he could spray

then began to paint as he sprayed away.

drawing many pictures of many different things

especially the eagle with its great big wings

he like to do a mural so he could fill the wall

doing all the background his favourite thing of all

he used lots of colors to make his paintings bright

when the people saw them it filled them with delight

ollie he just loved it as they began to smile

knowing that is painting is really all worthwhile
children make us happy when were feeling sad

take away the sadness turn it into glad

make us want to smile at the things they do

you start thinking back when that child was you.

thinking of the the things you did day by day

all the childrens games that you used to play

children make us happy in everthing they do

fill your heart with joy and take away the blue

Last night I had
the strangest dreams.
I dreamed I had
three daughters (in reality I have two.)
They were all
babies, and of
Spanish descent.
My daughter's mom is
English, and long gone;
like the Beatles
and the Jam.
I remember two of the
girls names, Amelia and Alhena,
I can't recall the third one.

So there I was with these
beautiful olive skinned babies.
And it was wonderful.
I was full of joy.
The babies cried,
so I cooked for them.
When the Polenta had cooled,
I said, "It's suppertime angels."
They lined up and sat down.
I fed them; each in their turn.
they made soft
cooing sounds.
I turned around
to pour some milk.
And out of the corner of
my eye, I saw dark
shadows on the wall, and
heard the flutter of wings.
I turned back around.
They had turned into
doves, and one by one,
they flew away.

I woke up with an
ache worse than
hunger pains.
It was like the
dreams That I had
when I was a child.
I dreamed that
I had a puppy,
a girlfriend
or some candy,
and then woke up
to none of it.
Nothing but a longing
and a pain in my gut
that never went
away.
the sun's shining patina
was absent on this drab day
every quarter of the sky
showed grey billows

The only piece
You let anyone see
Is the broken one....

And
It is beautiful
As is
Sometimez  "as is" is good enough. Some things can't be fixed

Tropical weather brings along the rain,
Bathing burning skin, scorching sun,
And the tree out front has overgrown
Bright, tiny yellow flowers, sprinkled light.
They emerge, stars amongst the greenery
As we swim across the cooling sea,
Lemon flavor lingers in your mouth,
Sugary kisses, on humid nights.
And the tallest palms, they reach the skies,
Swaying gently, bending in the wind,
Month of June, I breeze, for all the whims,
And we keep each other, discovering.
For the summers filled with the sweetest smiles :)

Sky
beneath her eyes
were these beautiful flowers
watered from the tears
she shed from a heartbreak
each glance at her eyes
touches your soul
and tell you a story
